If you want to really want to compare, and your splits are as consistent as you say, ask the supershoe wearers to run in non-supershoes for a workout and see what the difference is. Or pony up for a pair of supershoes (I see people bragging on reddit about the deals they find at outlet stores, often well under $100) and see if you end up right with them.

This is the way to go.
If you want to have more confidence in any differences you see, you should both switch, and run in the other's shoes on the same day. And you really want to be confidnt, do an RCT, and assign shoes to everyone randomly.
This design isn't perfect. For example, you all know which shoes you are wearing, so if there's any placebo effect, it will contaminate your results. And, if there's any effect on training and thus fitness, that will be baked in by this point, so you'll miss that. And...

yes - here they are for elite level runner US runners (top 100). The numbers are different for US and world - not sure why but they are different.
It's obvious -- when you compare the top 100 runners in the US to the top 100 in the world, you are comparing apples and oranges.
The 100th American time was 15:42.27, run by Amaris Tyynismaa. That is the 450th fastest time in the world. Conversely, the 100th fastest time in the world is 15:06.48, run by Meraf Bahtat. That time would put her 14th on the US list this year, between Taryn Rawling and Emily Lipari.
In other words: When you compare the 100 fastest US times to the 100 fastest world times, you are basically comparing the 100 fastest US times to the 14 fastest US times.
As I said, "apples and oranges."
If I were you, I would check it myself, running in super shoes and ordinary shoes. or would ask her team members to do such an experiment. Please share your results.

I predict there is no way Kipchoge gets the marathon World Record in Berlin if he wears the klunky AlphaFly in lieu of the VaporFly. His sponsor might want him running in the AlphaFly, but there will be no World Record if he runs in it.
I don't like the Alphas, and I think that Eliud would have WRed also in Vapors, but... 2:01:09 ;-)
is Adidas Boston 10 not already supershoe with those carbon rods and thick sole?
