To be honest there's a few exceptional athletes coming out of Norway with freakish/unexplainable physiology (and not just from one family).
Take Karoline Grovdal. Basically every PB (1 mile, 2k, 5k, 10k, 2k steeple, 3k steeple, 10k road) is from a meet in Norway. And yet despite being a 14:31/30:50 runner, she gets dropped or DNFs at most major Champs (WC/Olympics).
Coincidently, in the winter endurance sports (XC), Norway has a reputation for doping.
