No chance in hell Cook is top 5. Cook may be in the top 40. Now if we want to talk overrated, that would be Cook. From a cross country perspective she got exposed at Eastbay. She is not very strong and is not a good hill runner at all, and the National course will expose her even more. Her form is not built for hills. she will be lucky to be in front of NC State’s 4th runner. And in her defense, the only reason she is overrated is because of that stupid Running Lane course that is a joke, and fans and media blew her up because of a time that means nothing on the flattest and easiest course in America.

in fairness, she did run 15:25 as I recall.
In fairness, because I think your right…..that is why I said from a CC perspective. Because her bad form can translate fine on a track, but hills on dirt and grass does not translate well because her form is very non efficient. She will not be much of a factor at cc Nationals
