Will knock a couple of seconds off when she does the water barriers how she did the final one. Her push off leg isn’t coming through and it’s staying under her. Insane.
Great catch. I was yelling this while watching. She was landing on her push off leg. Delay was doing the same thing.
Is there any reason why they can't hold half of the men's events on Friday along with half of the women's events and do the same on Saturday? It is damn ridiculous some athletes are made to run 100M, 4x100M and 200M on the same day with some events being about an hour apart. What's the rationale for this gawdawful scheduling?

Noone has to run more than one race if they don't think that they are able. Everyone knows the schedule ahead of time and chooses the events that they will compete in based on that schedule. That is how it should be. They schedule should not be created just so that certain people can run as many events as possible.

I was so confused while watching it- like maybe me feed was glitching or something. Go out to the track and TRY to do that. It’s like doing a repeated single-leg bound, but over a steeple barrier.. mid-race no less.. maybe she used to be a triple jumper.

It is better for TV and the team title race to only have one gender per day. Also Keeps the focus on the men or women athletes to reduce any confusion.
Joins her family members in the sub-50 club! What a legacy she is living up to!
I gotta retract, partially; only her aunt (in-law) Jearl Miles-Clark broke 50 with her 49.40/1:56.40. Mom Joetta Clark-Diggs and Aunt Hazel Clark, while excellent 800m runners at 1:57.84 and 1:57.99, never broke 52 according to World Athletics

Are the World Championships and Olympics confusing?

But then the last jump look so smooth.
She’s strong, has great form. Will be our best shot in 2024
