You are the exception. I am prescribed adderall and take it to get things at my job done but man it is unreal how easy it is to train when taking it. Some days I lack motivation to run and then during my lunch break I’m doing 10 miles. Pre-hab/ exercises? Never was good at staying on top of that stuff. With adderall, I look forward to doing all of the small things. Adderall won’t make you faster necessarily but it will make putting in all of the work to get faster a million times easier. Any day you are feeling flat, dragging or not motivated, you can instantly fix that with adderall. It is 100% a performance enhancer.
Selfishly I don’t want other people to take adderall because I feel like it gives me a leg up in my job (I’m in sales and you’re constantly compared to the other reps) but morally, I feel like anyone should be to get it prescribed even if they don’t have adhd. As long as you are healthy monitor you blood pressure, etc… there really aren’t any negative health affects. That being said, I look down on Molly for this. If she wants to take adderall for her mental health, all the power to her she shouldn’t be competing.
