Boling is good, but he has no shot at any of those records. Hard to say which he will get closest to. I doubt he will ever clear 28 feet, go under 9.9, or under 19.75.

He is still in college and is pretty close to all of those yet you don't give him a chance to improve just a bit in each discipline. His 200 meters adjusted for the wind was about a 19.80. He is only 21 and you don't give him a chance improving more than 0.50 seconds? He has jumped 27'1 and you don't see him improving another 11 inches? Carl Lewis blossomed after college. Boling is still working on 100 and 200 meters, long jump and maybe 400 meters too. Plus, he has to go to class every day. Take away all the classes and put him with a professional coach and who knows how much he can improve.
Based on what I've seen, and based on his times, I don't think, at least for now, that he has a chance at the World Record in any of these events, as most runners and jumpers don't.
We'll see next year if he makes a nice improvement in his times, but right now he's just another really really fast sprinter whose 200 time puts him in a smaller category of runners who have equaled or bettered his mark than his 100 time, but nothing really really special.
I'm not really as familiar with his jumping skill, although I know he had one really great jump that stands out from his others.
You say, put him with a professional coach? He has plenty of coaching right now! Boling is currently with Caryl Smith Gilbert who was Head Coach at USC where Andre DeGrasse ran 9.9 and 19.8 about 45 minutes apart at PAC12’s one afternoon.

She may be okay but Tom Tellez was the greatest. Look what all the Houston athletes did. No comparison.
Looking at the 2 Women’s NCAA titles, multiple Men’s top 10’s, and numerous Tokyo Olympians that she trained at USC, I’d say that Coach Caryl is considerably better than OK and I won’t be surprised to watch this become more obvious during her years at Georgia (this is only her first season). Tellez was indeed a great coach! Carl Lewis was his very first big recruit as HC at Houston and their mutual success attracted and bred many more great athletes and results. Their collaboration with Joe Douglas and the Santa Monica TC was a great contributor to everyone’s success as well.
Get your racist stupidity out of here. He's #1 in both the 100 & 200 for D1, if you only count wind-legal times. He deserves attention.
Boling was 4th in the 100m at the NCAA east prelims by time, and in the semi-finals he was 3rd in his heat (9th overall, in just the east regional). Sure maybe he has the fastest wind legal time, but its hard to argue that he is even clearly the best in the NCAA at these distances, when he lost his regional and conference meets. He's great, but nothing to be super excited about yet. I would say he was better relative to his age in high school.
Which event do you think he has the best shot in breaking the existing world record?
WR talk in any of those events is not realistic but any athlete who runs sub 10/sub 20 before turning Pro is a potential world beater.
With the right set-up he should go 9.85/19.75 at worst and has a real shot at making the next Olympic team in both events. The bad news for him is he's got the likes of Knighton, Lyles, Brommel, Micah, Bracy, Kerley to contend with, not to mention others who could emerge by 2024. His 8.25 m LJ is nothing special at this point....8.50m would be more in line with his 100/200 times.
