Steve, every day out there some cheat is being found out and chased by the media...rightly so. When you cheat and you one day appear on 60min, that is on you. Be a man and face up to what you did, and try to change your life. Meza couldn't accept that.
For people that say it is 'just a little lie', no it isn't. I do not want my physician or surgeon to be a dishonest person that uses that dishonesty to further himself. It tells me about his character and I wouldn't put myself in his care.
People need to be outed at the get go, the smallest infraction, especially the higher their level of trust in society. Have a listen to the Melissa Caddick podcast. She ended up fleecing innocent people, family, friends out of life savings with her Ponzi scheme and when Feds came knocking she necked herself the next day. She started small , with false signatures etc, double dipping on commission, but every time she was caught she was simply fired and not reported.
Absolutely don't feel for cheats in professional society
