But of course Trudeau lives by his own law and does not subject himself or other "elites" to the same standards as everybody else. Thus, any arrests and fines should absolutely not hold up in court because of that aforementioned fact. The utmost prototypical Liberals are showing their true colors, and they don't even care how obvious it is at this point. The cover theyve been using has been blown because they were stood up and the opportunity to expose the frauds finally taken. They are not for the people, they don't care about your health. All they want is to maintain or increase their power over the people and in turn their personal status in the political sphere. But enough is enough. The people of Canada must not be complicit in abuse and take a stand against an unscrupulous and disturbingly awful "leader" who is an embarrassment to that country.

But blockading the border, stopping hundreds of millions of dollars of trade every day, forcing auto factories to shut down, and so on? Leaning on truck horns in residential areas all through the night for weeks on end? Those aren't protected rights.
At a certain point, there's a race to the bottom. If the Canadian government says "Okay, you 10,000 people sure are committed to your goals, we'll accede to your demands and let you be the government," what happens if 5,000 people like me decide that we don't like that, and we decide to blockade the border ourselves? Are we really going to make national policy decisions based on which group of a few thousand zealots is willing to inflict more pain on everyone else?
We have a much better way of making these decisions. They're called elections. We had one in Canada six months ago. Trudeau won while running on the explicit promise to introduce vaccine mandates. The People's Party of Canada, which is the party most closely aligned with the protests, didn't win a single seat. Even their leader lost.
So yes, in answer once again to your original question, this is what most (though certainly not all) Canadians want. Those that don't want it can and should continue to voice their views and sway others toward their perspective. But not like this.

They could meet protest leaders, revoke useless trucker mandate and it would be over long time ago. Instead they chose to escalate. What's going on is 100% governmet fault

Let’s say you live in a a neighborhood that has 2 ways to either enter or exit. Option A is specifically for import/export & goods and services (good, general commerce), and Option B is for regular commuter travel so you can drive in an out of your neighborhood.
Then, one day, 100 tanker trucks block you in your neighborhood and want to “negotiate”. You can’t leave. You can’t get food in. You can’t products or services in. And not only that, by negotiate, they really mean accept a list of demands for which most people in your neighborhood do not agree with.
How is that acting in good faith? The truckers are trying to strong arm the situation and Justin needs level up to disburse them.
Now, if the truckers simply had signs or camped out — not shutting down other people’s lives and commerce, that would Be acting in good faith.
A current Liberal big lie regarding the protests is the institution attempting to associate the Nazi swastikas at the protest with the protestors. The reality is that the swastikas are imitating the institutional control tactics--indicating the government is behaving similar to Nazis. It's highly disturbing that anyone would believe this Liberal lie that's also perpetuated by their lamestream media friends targeting impressionable sheep.
Originally these same proven pathplogical liars were calling it a protest of exclusively anti-vaxxers. This is a freedom protest and most are vaccinated.

In this interview he did a complete 180 from what he's been telling people all along. He was hammering the covid narrative and lockdowns hard (yes it appears he's a conservative/righty) but in a state or provincial setting it appears his state party is more liberal leaning than the Canadian national conservative party who has consistently grilled Turdeau to stop taking peoples rights and freedoms all along.
Digressing though, he did a complete 180 because the institution realized that the public is fed up to a level past a set threshold. But the 180 does prove that the strict restrictions were all politically motivated. This is key. Because nothing has really changed, the virus is still not even a threat to young healthy people. But suddenly the policies change and restrictions lifted? Proves it's a political agenda and a perpetual cycle where they take your rights/freedoms and establish control to fulfill an agenda.

I agree with a lot of this post. I think some of the things the truckers have done have crossed the line in what we consider appropriate protests. However, the governments have wildly overstepped their authorities leading up to this. At a certain point you've left people with no way to retain their liberty and freedom through the accepted means of protest what do you expect? If this is the only way that people have to end the mandates then I can't begrudge the truckers for going this path.
100% agree the Trudeau could have ended this at any number of points. He could have at anytime met with the truckers and agreed to a compromise or at least heard them out and convinced them to alter their protest in a manner that was less disruptive to certain things people are complaining about. Instead he has degraded them and now brought a nuke to fist fight. A massive failure of leadership on his part and also a sign of desperation. Weak leaders tend to respond with overwhelmingly bad showings of force and an inability to change course when their leadership proves ineffective. This is exactly what we are seeing here.
Canadians should always mask and stay home. It's a scary world up there. They should shut down all businesses and limit travel to only essential workers. Didn't Canada close the borders at the beginning of this so whats the big deal? I mean the truckers are just forcing visitors to quarantine before entering the country. There are other illnesses out there like the flu and the cold that can spread so the truckers are actually helping T keep the country safe.

Why do these dingbats get to decide when mandates end? Where are their medical degrees and certificates in medicine and epidemiology?
Mandates are in place in most provinces based on hospital capacity. If hospitals are full, there will be restrictions. Hospitals are seeing declining Covid cases, mandates will be rolled back.
And there was already a Federal election 6 months ago on this very question. *That* is where all Canadians can voice their displeasure, and they did.
