you are intrigued and watch on TV , know the names of athletes et. .
I watch on TV because I'm bored. I know Shawn White because he's been on for like 20 years. He's the only one whose name I know.
His second run he did ok and ended up 4th and made the final! Only shows again it's not a sport, the guy is like 60 years old.
Tell you something else about this snowboarding, no way does grabbing the board add anything to the trick. I don't care if it's harder or not. Does it look neat? No, you can hardly even see it until the instant replay. Not dazzled at all. Big deal.
You and your generation should not understand snowboarding 🏂. You are doing exactly what is expected , say you are not interested , then say what you know about the sport , The non athletic NFL player “ Tom Brady “ is 7 years older than Shawn White . Brady played in multiple Super Bowls ? What is Super about that . Brady must be like 67 years old I guess. Football not a sport.
Snowboarding is a decades old sport invented by boomers. What sport have today's kids invented?
The trick skiers wear the same baggy outfits. I'm not impressed when they make an X with their skis in midair. That looks like it might be marginally harder, but visually it's just not interesting. They do the same "look ma I can grab my ski" thing, so what.
Simple solution: compete nude, like in the original Olympics.
wouldn't a loose suit ostensibly keep you in the air longer like a flying squirrel / base jump suit?
They should dress like flying squirrels
