I agree with that order, unfortunately Prandini who I think has the better turn gets left off this team, but I think she'll run in the heats so she could at LEAST get a medal. The team you said though I think would run like a 41.1 or 41.2, and not win because I know them Jamaicans gon run like a 40.6-40.7 😩

I don't know. She's already paying a big price for using during the trials, and there were extenuating circumstances that can explain why she made such a poor decision at the time. I really don't think she'd make the same mistake again and certainly not just a month later. I guess if the coaches don't want to take any chances, I can see that. But I think it's a pretty overblown concern.

Her PR is 10.92. Not 10.82. And Thomas just ran a 21.6 which is far, far superior to 10.92, especially on a 4x100 where your top-end speed matters much more than your flat 100m PR, given the flying start given to three of the four legs.
Prandini is 3-0 head to head vs Thomas. I'd go Prandini all day here.

Their seasons bests when factoring in wind are about the same, but Thomas has ran 11.00 and prandini has ran 11.11 this season.

Agree. She can't be trusted. Just add Gardner to the mix for her experience and we are good to go.
HOw is Thomas' start compared to PRandini?
WIth a flying start, I agree with others who say Thomas has MUCH better potential. But I could be wrong on that. Haven't actually watched the two of them in a 100 together.
21.6 obviously shows much faster than 11.0 potential speed.
Regardless, it's not Prandini OR Thomas. We can have them both. We don't have to choose one over the other

I said earlier in the thread I don't think she'd pop positive again, but it's too much of a risk, maybe there's a 10% chance it happens again, that's too much of a risk in my view.

I agree that 10% is too high of a risk, but I think it's more like 1% or even 0.1%, which is to say virtually zero risk. Certainly less risk than dropping the baton or having an illegal exchange. But that being said, I can't say that it's unreasonable not to select her even on that small chance. I would like to see her on the team, but I won't excoriate the coaches if they leave her off.

The team is Oliver, Daniels, Prandini and Thomas. Why does Daniels need to get left out?
Who cares. How is she even eligible for the relay? I thought since she tested positive her 10.8 was null and void.
I called this. This girl cracked under the pressure and doesn’t want to run in the Olympics anyway. It’s the only reason other than flat out stupidity. Now she won’t run the relay because she isn’t in the right spot?! Seriously? Gtfo you’re lucky they even asked you. If she runs at all it should be the anchor leg ...
Until her ban runs out I think she will not be allowed at any training venue. So how on earth can she fit into a relay team in time.
