Gjert is crazy about germs and this kind of stuff. Remember this is the guy who wouldn’t let Jakob shake hands at world champs, carried around a big bucket of anti-bac during covid, is typically cautious about injuries etc. I am sure Jakob argued that he should get to race but ultimately Gjert is the one in full control. Jakob will be just fine and will return in good form prior to the olympics.

Iguidir is extremely bad in quick. This explains why he only got bronze medals at some lucky final. I have seen him failing at the end line more than once.

This reminds me that during COVID, colds have been way down from all the social distancing, mask wearing, and hand washing, which might be another key to improved performances. When I was training very well and had a great workout, I'd often get sick because when you're at your highest performance level, you're always a bit more vulnerable to germs. They've had the luxury of avoiding those contacts and staying healthier this year--if they avoided COVID, that is.
Could he have the vid? Feel like an overprotective dad coach type could have thought they were above the vaccine because they are all such amazing athletes that they can't be bothered to keep themselves safe. Kinda like LeBron. Apologies if he's vaccinated. Some T&F athletes carry this mentality, as do some on here.

To this point, had a friend stay with me recently. He came in with a nasty cold and now I'm fighting one. First time I've been sick since February 2020.
