So if we know that he had hip surgery in 2020 and it was the same surgeon again in 2024...was he given BPC back in 2020?
"He was given" implies a tremendous abdication of responsibility. Athletes are responsible for what goes into their body, full stop.
Seth took an banned peptide to recover from a hip injury. Doing so triggers an automatic one-year suspension of eligibility. Rowan's failure and/or refusal to ask that question doesn't invalidate that reality.
Apparently they posted about it on Instagram too; mana Clevenger was not happy in the comments even though she was the one that allegedly narc’d him out
God that's pathetic, a 50-ish-year-old woman arguing with a student newspaper on Instagram.
Seth's defenders seem to be his mom, his brother, a couple wayward Rowan alums, a few Rowan sprinters who don't want their championship sullied, and lastly and most bizarrely, this random girl from the women's team who spams Instagram and other platforms (hi Ellie). What her motivation is to be so heavily invested in this random transfer is beyond me. Maybe I'm missing someone? Human psychology is fascinating.

You are correct. He was a minor in 2020, though. It also appears that the mom had the same surgery at the same place...
He needs to accept full responsibility but I am starting to think this mess traces back a bit earlier in time...

It is puzzling that anyone is still commenting on any of this after 1) the AD told the Rowan kids to keep quiet and 2) any reasonable attorney would have told them family to keep quiet.
Also, free advice to kids and older folks alike...if you or your family is involved in a legal quagmire and you insist on sticking yourself into the thick of it, MAKE YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA PRIVATE lol.

Yeah, I don't understand this one. The situation with Seth doesn't mean you didn't jump 6'9 at Nats, Noah. It doesn't mean you didn't win your event, Rajahn. They are separate things altogether. Carrying his water is not a good look now, and it absolutely won't be a good look when this all blows up.
Noah in particular is an interesting story. He's not from NJ; he's from PA, which means out-of-state tuition. He jumped 6'6" in high school; I find it very hard to believe that his best choice was to pay out-of-state tuition to go to a D3 school. No one in their right mind would choose Rowan purely for academic reasons, but if that's the best school he could have gotten into, I have to wonder why he wouldn't choose similarly non-rigorous schools in the PSAC where he would have gotten both in-state tuition and a partial scholarship.

Justified nuking of my last post lol
No idea why the Rowan athletes are acting like their performances are being invalidated because Seth’s were. Had this been a nationals where they won without a Seth transfer then this thread wouldn’t exist nor would Rowan Clean Sport.
Edit: Had Seth not been dumb enough to allegedly take BPC during the summer nor be involved with it or whatever the hell was going on in the fall, be the subject of a giant Iowa State scandal pre-Rowan and post-Iowa state, nor transferred under beyond suspicious circumstances where there’s an immaculate amount of evidence then the last 10 words above would apply in terms of a clean national title. And before any Rowan goonies jump on “D1 to D3….” Don’t forget Ryan Hagan and Faith Duncan

I don't understand the comments on IG. What do they think the lie is?
I figure that Seth gave his Rowan teammates the scoop of the situation but for (probably legal) reasons they are not allowed to disclose what he told them to the public. This is why you see them all arguing in his favor and bashing allegations that they are trying to call "defamation". Claims of "providing false info" among similar wording because they obviously know something we don't. It's not defamation of SC if it cannot be confirmed or denied. And the Rowan athletes need to understand this because the public doesn't know what they know and obviously none of them besides the "whistleblower" are going to speak out because who on their team want to turn on their fellow "National Champions"?
Whatever they say on social media to combat the negative media will go nowhere because of this. Only concrete proof of innocence/guilt or a SC testimonial will solve this and I do not see either happening. Hopefully the OPRA can give some answers.

I mean, I hear you, but it doesn't really answer my question.
Seth's own Mom admitted he took a banned peptide. It is overwhelmingly likely that Seth additionally disclosed that to the ISU coaching staff. The NCAA is crystal clear on this: that triggers a one-year suspension regardless of whether or not that suspension is served while still at ISU or elsewhere.
So again, I am baffled at what they are arguing against. "He hasn't failed a test", yeah, alright great, that's not the point.

One of the Sarh explanations verified by several people was that he let his Kenyan teammate use his car and when he got in a hit and run he was kicked off the team
Bera, who has a hit and run on record remained on the team

Seth's own Mom admitted he took a peptide!
Can anyone confirm where this quote from his mom came from?
We may soon lock this thread if it is just a few people posting back and forth to one another. Threads are not meant for 2 people to insult one another
