For #1, you are wrong on the facts. We don't know the conclusions because the Mueller report has not been released. All we know is that whatever collusion may have occurred, it did not rise to the level of a prosecutable crime. I think all liberals on this board do accept that.

For #2, you are again wrong on the facts. There is plenty of evidence of collusion. Just the Trump Tower meeting by itself contains plenty of evidence. Again, we only know that Mueller determined it did not rise to the level of a prosecutable crime.

It certainly was not unprecedented. The FBI does counterintelligence investigations every day. This started as a counterintelligence investigation long before the election.

There was credible evidence that the Russians were interfering in the election. Mueller determined that this was true and he chose to indict Russian companies and individuals involved. The investigation was successful and showed that, in Muller's opinion, crimes did occur.

Result of charges:

Impeachment by House and then either conviction and removal by Senate or resignation by Trump.

They could have done an investigation all they wanted, but it should have been done under wraps, like most of their other investigations. There was no reason to publicize it.
