Frankly you shouldn't watch NYC or Boston marathons it you mostly care about fast times. The women's race was actually decent with 5 in the mix with less than 2 miles to go. The only thing embarrassing about their pace is that non-Africans didn't hang in there to compete at the end. As for the men, this just showed there really isn't much depth in the field.
