What I remember most is that Parvaneh literally stopped the Race Director from closing up the course because Parvaneh knew that one of her friends was still trying to finish the race. So the RD let Parvaneh's friend get a NINE hour finish time.
Talk about doing someone favors who doesn't deserve it. If he only knew then what she knows now.

Nine hours isn't THAT slow. 20:30 pace. Almost 3mph.

The course cutoff time is 8 hours. According to the rules the RD shouldn't have given the 9 hour finisher an official time.

It isn't fair to the runners who trained, prepared and finished within the time limit.

In 2013, PM claimed to have run 2 marathons one day, then a 23 hr 100-miler the very next day, then another marathon the next day. Three marathons and a hundo in 3 days. All four races were her races where she was also the RD. Suuuure... ((((((-;

Mind you, I am ultra runner so they know how their mom gets after any race....marathons or ultras. Quotes from the kids: "And people were believing she ran that much in 3 days?" "After your 100s mom we have to do all the helping for 3 days because you are on the couch". "If she is going to cheat , at least she should make it realistic". "If anyone ran that much in 3 days your legs would fall off". This is very very wrong. Kids know. Kids know. Sad.

Steve Holehan is actually a very good runner. Not in quality, but in quantity of marathons, which is just as impressive, if not more. Steve once fell and broke a rib at mile 23 of a marathon and HE KEPT ON GOING. So, if you people think he helped his wife cheat, then I just don't know what to say.
Seriously? I bet he is really good at quantity. As in all PMs races....each one as fake and falsified as the next. She's all about quantity too. They are made for each other. Big deal about a dam rib. Runners know pain and suffering. It's a rib. Finish and shut your trap. What In gods name are you talking about and how is this relevant ?!?!

It is terrible to limit your children based on your physical limitations.
You are telling your kids that the people who finish Badwater and then go back and run it again and again and then again are liars just because your legs would fall off.
You should do more research into ultra-endurance events before you spout off a bunch of garbage accusing people who are stronger than you of lying. I feel sorry for you.

That PM woman is a cheater. I will teach my kids about cheating and use this as a prime example. I am all for pushing limits. I am sorry, when you are 50 lbs overweight it is not physically possible nor safe to do those distances. You obviously are not a runner nor familiar with what it takes to do that type if distance. That is world class. PM is laughable. PM is also a fraud. She is not a runner in any sense if the term. If I were her, my first goal might be to learn to count laps. That would be a success!!
Those are the children's words. She clearly stated that. Even kids know those are crazy claims for a hack liar and cheater. I personally would love to see more honest motion, less beef cheating.
