No there is an earlier "ORIGINAL" from July to august 2010 when Dr. Kip Litton's friend Dan Baxley came on here with a potty mouth to defend Kip an it was hilarious. I wish the Brojos or someone at letsrun could dig it up from the deleted threads archives and restore it.
Just so the history is know (this is to the best of my knowledge) It's from when Kip Litton was first introduced to the letsrun community courtesy of Michael McGrath, assistant coach of Haverford College. Kyle strode knew all about it as well from Missoula and Wayne Kursh in Delaware. Scott Hubbard responded to this thread and got involved as he knew Kip as a cheat from the Michigan road racing scene. After this the thread took off but someone in charge of moderating threads at letsrun kept deleting any mention of Kip Litton, until someone wrote to robert Johnson (rojo). Hence, rojo agreed that it was OK to have a Kip Litton thread at letsrun but 1 and only 1 thread. SOmeone, posting under the handle "Great News Folks!" posted the beginning of what is now the 5000 post Kip Litton thread. However it would be nice to have the whole history so that's why I kindly ask the Brojos or someone in charge to add in or restore in another thread the earlier stuff from when Kip was first introduced as suspicious on letsrun and Dan Baxley went ripshit.

Have you tried the way back machine archives to see if it's there? It is possible some of the original thread is there.
You don't know if it was his friend Dan Baxley or even if he exists. I can make up a friend and do the same thing, extremely easy to do and diverts attention away from the real topic. Honestly, how naive are some of you people?

How sure are you that Dan Baxley is really a Kip Litton going undercover?
He cheated to the nth degree. No one does what he did with no logical reason.
At first Dan Baxley, knowing jack shit about distance running, was very much on Kip's side that Kip Litton was an innocent man who was framed by people on here and mark singer and the New Yorker.
You see, Dan Baxley is the type of guy to be very impressed by someone who can run a single mile in close to 5 minutes.

I agree that this would be great to have.
if Baxley were real, and his opinion had any value, he'd been on here with facts. as you can see, he's not. it's all a big joke people, but he got caught. next, divert attention away from the facts (photos that tell the truth) and hope a moron or two will believe you. really, that's all this whole thing was...he got caught and continued to lie. if you were accused of the same and your wife was an attorney, why wouldn't you sue in a heartbeat. as you can see, that hasn't happened. case closed.

Kip, if you are reading this, and I think that you are, here's what I have to say to you:
It doesn't matter if you are a sub 2:20 guy, or barely under 8 hours. Just finish the marathon honorably. You'll find some peace and self-worth knowing that you did your best.
One of my best friends took up marathon running based on the example that I set, and runs a marathon in about 5:45 these days, and he's completely happy with this time. He runs a marathon about twice a year, and hasn't gone below 5 hours in the last 10 years. He loves his running.
You will love your running and be truly admired if you finish your marathons in an honorable fashion. It doesn't matter if takes you 3 hours or 5 hours or 7 hours.
My PR might be 2:18, and I really don't have a good chance to run faster than this again due to my age and physical issues, but you'll find peace in knowing that you finish honorably and do your best.
