This is why I can't take them seriously as a movement. There many legitimate viewpoints within the M@GA world. Steve Bannon wanted to add a 43% tax bracket for income >$450k. Getting NATO allies to hit 2%. Rationalizing immigration policy. Many moderates in the US would agree to compromises around these issues. They need moderates to actually govern, however.
But they told the moderates on both sides to go F themselves. And this was when they were the majority in Congress. It is clear they don't actually aspire to govern.

Indicting POTUS would result in POTUS overseeing and investigation into themselves. So Congress has to handle it. This might be a kludge, but it sidesteps this particular issue without resorting to SCOTUS, which now seems like a good idea.

Well, the court normally starts to shut down at 4:30. It would have been very normal for them to request another 90 minutes or so. That they said they were done at about 4:22 indicates that not only did they not need another day, they didn't even need 90 minutes.
