What in the world happened to Corban's men at the Cascade preview meet?!?
USF (IL) looked good at Notre Dame - men are still missing two.
Corban pretty obviously just didn’t run their top guys
Enjoy that nonsense for another week. That is the best thing about October. No more excuses or dodging, it is put up or shut up time. “We sat someone” doesn’t matter anymore.
I have no idea what you’re talking about because it’s obvious this thread constantly jumps to certain things. Injuries and eligibility are two of them among others. That's okay though I still hope you’re having a nice day and no need to go back and forth about things that do not matter like facts lol
Kind of depends on the size of the meet, doesn't it? Meet like nationals if you have one or two low-scoring runners makes a huge difference with the team score. Still of course comes down to how fast your number-five runner is. As always

Championship races are in November…
It’s also September now…
It’s a pretty normal thing to not run all of your guys at a meet early on in the season
About 2/3 through September with 8 weeks left in the season…
Who cares if Corban sits some of their guys on September 20th it’s not like they were peaking for the CCC preview meet that only had about half of the teams in the CCC
Man it seems like the top 3 teams from last year did this same thing even later into the season…and they were fine.
Who cares if someone rests their top guys in an early inconsequential meet, especially in a meet that was reportedly on a short course with only a few teams? I don’t care if it’s almost October there’s 2 whole months left till nationals, a lot of these teams race their guys too much as is.

8ish weeks till the national meet, why people gotta sit??
Any update on Milligan? Did the exchange kids run today?
Guys is this racist?
Exchange/transfer its all the same. Milligan isn't as good as they think. They will get beat at nationals in XC and once track season start they don't have anything but distance runners.
St. Mary win program of the year a couple years back on the men’s side with just distance points and one good sprinter.
That same year St. Francis’s women won program of the year with all of their points coming from distance events.
I think you could point to more really good distance programs that aren’t powerhouses in sprints/field than the other way around. Milligan is at least solid in sprints and a true powerhouse in distance
