We here in Australia are willing to sacrifice our freedom and liberty for the greater good of the community.
So yes, freedom of religion, freedom of association and freedom to gather should all be restricted for the foreseeable future until community transmission is 0 or next to 0. Also, those who have Covid and refuse to quarantine should absolutely be forcefully put into quarantine camps in order to stop Covid from spreading uncontrollably.
Also, and this may shock the softer Americans, but freedom of speech should be restricted for the foreseeable future. We can’t let anti-lockdown or anti-vaccine misinformation be spread and thus indirectly cause the virus to spread.
When dealing with a virus like Covid the state must legitimately be ready to use all weapons in its arsenal to stop the spread. We can roll back the state after Covid is completely eradicated.
