You can't stand by the election results anymore. Whether Trump won fairly or not, that time has passed. Trump has done some really bad things since being elected, and that is what will be his downfall. It is possible we may never know if there was collusion, but his problem is that he has now obstructed justice. Why obstruct justice if there was not collusion? Well, Trump thinks of himself as an autocrat, so it COULD just be that he wants everyone to bow down before him even if he doesn't believe there was collusion. This is a situation where his warped sense of self could actually HELP him if a lawyer were able to properly explain it. The BIGGER likelihood though is that Trump knows there is fire and that he doesn't want that found. And, when it gets right down to it, obstruction is obstruction. Flynn has plead the 5th...more will follow.

That is the same exact game Trump tried to play when Clapper said he was "unaware" of evidence of possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.
