I'm on vacation and I forgot my Garmin... but here is my run...
Its just me, my frozen water bottle and my Nike Frees.
I head out of our complex, onto the hilly pavement and down towards the ocean. It is overcast, cool and slightly breezy. I feel the moisture in the air and immediately notice the slight gasp for air as I breathe into it but goes away immediately. I feel the cool air touching my skin as I pick up the pace and I feel "alive" and grateful. I cross the busy intersection after I see "go ahead" from the white walking sign and I proceed onward and notice all eyes on me from the cars waiting on the other side. I bolt with confidence to the other side and towards the ocean. Ahhhh... I hear the familiar waves calling me..... wanting me to run towards them. Instead, I decide to run the path that allows me to enjoy the sound and not get too close. I did not want to be distracted from my goal or maybe I was being little selfish and not wanting to my new Frees filled with sand..laugh.
After about an hour and 15 min, I am back to our vacation place and wondered where the time went...?
Wow, this has been the best running in a long time. Thanks for allowing me to share this moment.
