The Para is considered 'elite' Elite simply means they are showing the hobby runners and silly interviews
4:51 19th mile for Kipchoge. That's the slowest of the race. WR could be slipping away.

Yeah, I didn't mind that. They showed the last 1.5-2 minutes of the race. That's fine.
What's not fine is showing 3 minutes of commercials every 10 minutes. Plus, I've seen like 1 minute total of the men's race in the last 20. Not even a split screen.

I've been watching BBC red (elite), and it has mostly been elite races, but missed a fair amount due to wheelchair coverage, then just recently the visually-impaired coverage. But they showed very little interviews or hobby joggers, I will say.
Cheruiyot finished putting her #4 in history, they said. Missed time.

CLiffnote. Women went out 15:46 for 1st 5k and are paying the price. Vivian Cheruiyot went out 30 seconds slower and is kiling everyone. Just won in 2:18:31.
NINE Men went out faster than Breaking 2 pace 1st 5k. To be determined. Only 2 up front still. But WR will not happen .

Every marathon when runners start dropping the announcers start talking about how you can have a "bad patch" and maybe they'll come back. Lol that's not how it works. If you're struggling to stay with the pace halfway into a marathon you're screwed.

BBC elite feed is the NBCSN gold feed this year unfortunately.
