You are correct. I run ultras - but a 4:01 split at Rocky Raccoon is ridicules! I think someone pointed it out - The only runners that do that are competitors under 20 hours - she is not.

In 2013, her 4:01 pace in Loop 4 was identical to Shahee Sattar and Edgar Martinez, both of TX. Anyone from TX know these two? You honestly think PM could hang for even a 1/4 mile with these two athletes? These are two of Texas's best ultra runners!!!!!

There would be absolutely NO TIME to stake out, drive all the way into Lone Pine and rest up, then return to the stake, and finish in 48 hours. That is why she decided to cheat. Cheat v. DNF? You may want to get your facts straight. PM had already passed him at that point. She was ahead of him and didn't need to pass him. If you (or Thomas) are going to make something up, at least make sure you get your facts right.

She took a nap on the other loops and was so rested that she ran at a pace that she can't do 26.2 miles in???? Come on now, let's be real here. 4:01??? If she can't answer as to how she got that split, something really stinks!!!

She cheated at Rocky. She cheated at Badwater. She is not an elite runner who can throw down a crazy fast 4:01 at Rocky at MILES 60-80!!!!!! Late race splits as fast as Shaheen Sattar and Edgar Martinez? Really??? She was the slowest runner at Badwater for the first half of the race. If she didn't cheat and cheat drastically in the backhalf of BW, she would have DNF'd. You don't go from slowest splits to fastest splits.....unless you cheat. And when you claim you passed runners and their crews when you actually did not, people will come speak out against this wrong.

So you are claiming Thomas is lying that at or about mile103 him and his crew passed PM and shortly thereafter witnessed PM and hew crew get in the can and race into town? And Thomas is willing to bravely out his name and account if the events while you post anonymously is telling. Thomas and his crew of witnesses have zero reason to lie and get involved in this other than because they witnessed cheating and I assume feel strongly enough to post about it.

I agree with this poster. It just cannot be possible. I don't know who in their right mind could be supporting her. Unless it was a typo, more than once, it's truly not possible. For her marathon pr to be what it is and then to claim those times from 60-80 miles...it doesn't smell to good from where I'm sitting.For someone to come forward with their name confirming that they saw her getting into a vehicle...how sad to want the approval of others so badly.
