I think that this entire thread has missed one thing -- he never tested positive OFFICIALLY for a banned substance thus he cannot be banned from the NCAA LEGALLY. Now if you have a problem with NCAA drug testing rules, then fight the NCAA for that. I think 99% of y'all are oblivious to the fact that nearly every top D1 NCAA Distance runner is on a banned substance like BPC 157, test, etc. or have phony thyroid medication prescriptions.
What is done is done. Seth won 2 D3 titles and whether you like it or not they are by the book wins. Stop being pansies on LetsRun and go fight the NCAA if you care about clean sport so much. While you're at it, fight the age limit in the NCAA and the non-SAT requirement that allows broken English speaking foreigners to compete in the NCAA.
That last one’s a d1 problem not a d3 problem. Also admission to taking something is as bad as testing positive

I think that your entire reply has missed one thing -- that admitting to using BPC-157, which was corroborated by multiple teammates and by his own mother in an email -- triggers an automatic one year ban, regardless of what level he's competing.
What's done is done. He should have been ruled ineligible, and whether you like it or not, the rules that are on the book will catch with him. Stop being a disingenuous, narrow-minded idiot on LetsRun and go fight the NCAA if you disagree with what they have already codified as the rules so much. While you're at it, try to learn the finer points of reading comprehension and fight the urge to fall in a series of unmarked ditches while you attempt in vain to navigate a confusing and intimidating world for someone of your mental ability.

Also, it's hilarious that he's getting his panties in a wad (hi Pat!) about fighting the NCAA when that is literally what we're doing!
). Let them know 4 ex-teammates credibly accused Seth of admitted to using banned peptides at Iowa State and that his own mother confirmed this admission in an email. Any future competition by Seth Clevenger while Rowan is in possession of this knowledge is a violation of NCAA DIII Bylaw 10.2. If Rowan had knowledge of this email during indoor season, the NCAA would have grounds to vacate their DIII title along with Seth's individual wins.

A piece of unsolicited advice to you and any Rowan kids posting in this thread or on IG from a D3 has-been.
News flash: nobody in the running community outside of Rowan thinks your title was legit.
That's done, it's in the past. In 10 years nobody is going to care that you were a member of a DIII indoor track and field national championship team, legit or not. If you put it on your resume, people are going to think you're an idiot living in the past. It won't help you find a partner that loves you, it won't help you get a job, it won't help you raise kids the right way, you know, the things that matter. If you think otherwise, see Uncle Rico who could have won state if coach had just put him in (yes, aging myself there). There's a reason people are dragging Pat for commenting on every IG post about a school he graduated from 10 years ago. Having pride in your program is great -- I still cheer and keep an eye on how my alma mater is doing, but there's a line between having a healthy enjoyment in seeing your alma mater do well, and living in the past.
So if you believe your title was legit, get off LR, get off IG, and go enjoy it the best you can. All you're doing is torching your program and school's already torched reputation in the running community. Nothing you're saying will help the situation now or help you in the future, particularly when many of your defenses invoke bigotry, sexism, and homophobia. In the last few weeks you've become persona non grata by a huge swath of the running community, and it's a small world. You never know who's going to be on your hiring panel in a few years. Hell, I just had a sales pitch from a guy I remember racing against at Penn. We had a good laugh about the good 'ol days, but if he was a Rowan runner he wouldn't have gotten a response back. It's not hard for companies to scrape your social media when deciding whether to hire or not, and trust me when I say some are doing that. Dimit and Dubois have already run themselves out of any college coaching opportunities sans-Rowan, don't follow them down.

Am I the only one on Letsrun who's actually ran in organized NCAA DIII XC/TF? Like half of the comments I've seen on this thread are so obviously written by hobby joggers that it's almost humorous. When I started out in college (1 year starter for our DI varsity XC/TF team before going D3) I would get a full-on sprint going and clock the sh*t outta the first mile of a indoor 5k. My coaches called me "speedhawk" as a nickname ‘cuz I had such a nose for the first mile and for that transfer season I was considered the most feared distance runner in all of D3. Junior year I led my team to a nationals title only to get f*cked over by the whiny Letsrun users but that's another conversation (DM me if you're interested in hearing about it) So, yeah. I hope yall can understand why I feel like their's such a big disconnect between myself and your typical Letsrun hobby jogger. Please tell me I'm not the only one who feels this way lol

You're the only one who feels this way. I'm a three-time A-A, unlike you, who is some jerkoff who is making stuff up in order to distract people from the actual discussion here.

Leblond literally posted something in the old Clev thread before that one got wiped
Anyways, this sounds like Clevenger situation if you were describing it to a failed situationship at the bar so. Shut up, Pat.

why would hobby joggers give a flying f about DIII doping? The people here who care are/were D3 runners, by and large. Because we care about integrity in the division and sport.
Sorry for trying to give you some life advice from a has-been.
Oh damn, a three time baby nats champion. My bad bro, forget I said anything.
This is pathetic and embarrassing even for the standards of Seth defenders.
This Moron: I bet you guys are just hobby joggers, unlike me, the Speedhawk!
Someone else: Uh, actually, I’m a three-time A-A and I care about this because I care about fairness and I care about D3 as a place for serious students to compete while they follow their life’s passion.
This Moron: Haha! Baby Nats!
Seth’s army are the most idiotic mouthbreathers imaginable. How it’s possible that they don’t realize, at all, that they’re making it so much worse for him, I will never understand.

I think you're missing something. Don't forget the random posts about if Seth stole his girl or if they lust over Seth (and yet doesn't realize how the juxtaposition of those 2 makes no sense)
Guys you like to call names and attack Seth, his teammates and whoever supports him as is they aren’t human. sounds like y’all won’t be satisfied until he hurts himself or gets banned or ruined more. what if he actually didn’t do what you y’all say. what if this has been blown way out of proportion thanks to a few angry teammates that said stuff. by the time it hit hundreds of people sounds like extra keeps getting added. maybe use your time to solve world peace or get off your phone and do something productive besides harassing, insulting people you don’t know name calling. have you guys talked directly to the Iowa State coach to actually know.

How about this? You use PEDs, you get banned. is that fair?
have you guys talked directly to the Iowa State coach to actually know.
Don't need to. 4 ex-teammates accounts and corroboration from mom's email confession are more than enough. Ask yourself why the mom hasn't denied the veracity of that email, especially since it's such a damning piece of evidence.

Where is the rest of the email? I only see a sentence on the Rowan clean run page that is being assumed. maybe I missed the other part of email that puts all in context? Crazy it’s okay to hack into someone’s email.

That's exactly right, for what it's worth. I won't be satisfied until he gets banned.
Why? Because it's simple. He used an illegal peptide, admitted it, and avoided consequences for that by transferring. He should never have been eligible, and therefore it is gross miscarriage of justice for him to have been competing.
We may soon lock this thread if it is just a few people posting back and forth to one another. Threads are not meant for 2 people to insult one another
