Holy crap Obiri. Hammer time.
They are RACING while Gidey is still making adjustments to her uniform.
Behind Tola, Korir and Kitata are doing a remake of last year's race.

You know what would be great Rojo? If you spent 15 minutes of the podcast ranting about the race coverage. That would be awesome.
That has to be annoying trying to finish a race and compete for the win, with the camera truck right next to you and slightly blocking your tangent.
No American woman makes 2:29.
Oh, dear...

Amazing!!! Ok, I really thought Gidey would have more closing speed at this stage of their careers, but I was wrong.
Hey Dathan... it's not about you.
I can’t wait to see what Ritz can do with Klecker in the Marathon.

Tola and the lead women are in the same mile. I really hope he catches them. It will be the ultimate nail in the coffin in the transgender wars!!
Are the commentators for once going to say what an amazing run this is by Tola?? No. The lack of appreciation for his run in bad.
WTF are you blubbering about???
Tola 2:04:58. New course record

How is that slow? Have you ever run New York? That mile is uphill along the park along 59th St, has a short bit of slight downhill in the park from Columbus Circle, and then finishes with the last quarter mile up a steeper hill to the grandstands and the finish itself is a bit flatter.
