Like SO MANY runners (including elites, especially women), Hassan drifted out into not just the outside of lane 1 but into lane 2.
Tsegay was just holding her line, which left plenty of space if Hassan didn't just run into her.
Reminds me of Rowbery vs Huddle in the USATF 5k. lol

Hassan was clearly going wide impeding, then got slightly off balance with the bump she caused and just tripped up on her own. Period.

Confused by your objection. Fabris 5th round throw was just beyond Crousers best to that point. He fell out. Foul. Coming in Fabri hadnt even come close to 22m in his career. That was a 23m foul. Would have been a massive PR and a CR. He fouled. So almost.

Hassan is claiming on BBC TV just now that she was pushed and that that was the reason she fell. Michael Johnson who comments for the BBC said that there was contact between Tsegay and Hassan which made Hassan fall.
