Stanford’s 4-5 gap is gigantic here. Where would Lex/Leo have placed here?
Actually the gap was small time difference wise. So many people in between. 26.2 second spread

If Tulsa’s 5th had a big jump that would be an elite team. 1-4 at 11th, 14th, 18th, 19th is right on par with today’s BYU, but that 152nd is costing them
Where did Izaiah Steury come from for ND? Dropped the fastest FR time and he was the same class as Sahlman.
Gapped him by like 15 seconds
Sahlman wasn’t even the top freshman. True Freshman Izaiah Steury of ND finished 28th. 8th at FL nationals last year.
What a race by Stanford. Those Stanford speed demons will have their hands full with BYU over the 10k distance on the Stillwater course. NAU will definitely be there in a month's time.

OHHH THATS GOTTA FEEL GOOD FOR STEURY
86 guys under 24:00 . . . is that some kind of a record for an 8k xc race?
At the finish line . . .

Oregon men went from 30-25-17-12 each split.
Curious how intentional the slow start and move up was....
No Reinhart

He turned 20 before he was done with hs, so he didn’t get to race hs track
True freshman…
He’s 20 years old
Nico has really improved since last race, I'm not worried about him and think he will win the individual title. NAU however is not looking good. I know they always deliver at 10k but so does BYU who is looking great too
really rough days for Iowa st and Gonzaga compared to their poll ranking. NC State really outperformed, could potentially earn a lot of points from this finish, though if they can beat UNC with Shanklin having an off day they could just get top 2 at SE regional
BYU raced without 2 all-Americans, Clinget and Allen. Scary.

Isn't Connor Mantz their best runner?

I'm not sure about that. He might be more suited to flat courses vs. undulating courses. Some people are just built for rhythm running rather than fartlek.
Stanford's top 4 are all sophomores, going to be scary the next few years

That's the record for the Nuttycombe meet . . . almost double the number of sub-24s from a couple meets several years back . . .
