Stanford Men - Ky Robinson
NC State Women - Katelyn Tuohy
NAU's Nico Young and West Virginia's Ceili McCabe
Um why is there no west virginia??? so ceili mccabe is going there solo??
Men
Stanford
Ky Robinson
Women
NC State
Katelyn Tuohy
I want to see the match up of Utah Valley's Everlyn Kemboi and Katelyn Tuohy. Why? Because Kemboi finished 5 seconds behind Natalie Cook at Cowboy Jamboree, I want to find out where Tuohy is really at.
WV shows 2 meets on their schedule for that day so where they are going is a mystery. perhaps U Wisconsin does know though?
If NC St and NM run same lineups (ie no Chmiel/Shaw for NC St) I say NM wins and Tuohy wins. If Stanford runs full lineup I say they win, and Hicks wins. No guarantees schools run full lineups though.
It will show that, and by deduction where Cook and Roe are relative to Tuohy.
I was wondering the same about West Virginia. I want to see McCabe match up with Tuohy and some of the others. I was also wondering if WVU’s grad transfer Butler, who is essentially still a rookie distance runner, would be making her debut.
My guess if that they’ll probably be splitting the team up.
I think we should focus on Touhy only for this topic.
I thought beating Chelangat by 12 seconds was a pretty good indication.

well call me slow and data driven, but a>b and c>d doesn't tell me much about a relative to d. But if a>b, c>d, and a>>d then I might conclude a>c.
I really hope Mccabe runs! I want to see her and Tuohy face off. What are the chances Mccabe will be there? If WV were running wouldn't the team would have been listed on the release?
Everlyn is looking really strong
Unless Chelangat has mysteriously gotten a lot worse, we are talking about the 2020(03/21) xc winner and the 2021 xc runnerup.

We are, but 2 independent races on 2 different days and courses.....I prefer a common opponent
As long as she is feeling good, I like her chances.
I know it has been discussed but she beat a course record held by Kurgat and Kelati by 11 seconds. No joke.

I agree Tuohy seems very fit, the unknown is how strong are the OSU ladies who put 5 and 1 second on Kemboi in last 1K running 20:20 +/-. Similarly we get a good barometer on Valby when she races Chelangat at SEC and then Southern region. Tuohy will be the common opponent.
I think we will not see Valby until the SEC. UF up to its usual shenanigans.
I love how semihaze has already politely asked them on their Twitter posting for them to livestream! Thanks, semi!
