A discussion of the article. It starts just after 5:30. It goes on to other areas and circles back to Kip here and there. Not a lot here, but interesting, including the author mentioning his trip to Michigan to confront Kip.
And I was one of those who thought an article would never be published and that someone was just trolling. I was wrong!

The great thing about this is how Google, Bing et al Search Engines work. The bigger the destination site, the higher the page is ranked. So in the future, when you search for him this article will come up first. Not a chance it's his dental office.
Finally we can stop obsessing over Skip Litton. We still don't know HOW though. It reminds me of The Big Lebowski. Good movie, but you never find out if the dude gets his rug back. All the photos, the sleuthing, the emails, the article...and we don't know how he did it.
I agree with an earlier poster that dane rauschenberg should be next. I believe the ROJO's said that outing a cheater is a good thing, so why the double standard? Why is every thread started about this guy wiped out within the hour?

Search for the article on the website. And then click on the image of the article at the bottom of the abstract. A different log-in screen should pop up. The login information that you were emailed should work there (mine did). Not sure why it doesn't work on the main page.
Well, just finished the article. I thought it was very well done throughout. Cheers to Singer for staying the course and getting the story in print.
Based on some of the comments here, I'm not sure anything would have been good enough for the LR crowd. The article clearly outed Kip as a cheat who kept his secrets to himself. What more did you actually expect?
Kip will probably be the only person who ever really knows how/why he decided to go down this road. Seems like the guy needs professional help.

Seriously? You don't know HOW he did it but for the record, most of us are not that dumb.
There are only so many ways to get from point to point WITHOUT (key word, stay with me now) others aiding you.
A bike or a car and then run only small parts of it. Is there another way? Does he own a rocket? Can he turn himself invisible? Wake up people.
In Boston he was walking on the side of the road with no number and looking down. Can you not figure out the simplistic reason as to why he was doing that? He crosses a pad and off he goes to the next one. Not rocket science or anything even remotely close. The problem is you want to hear him say it so it's official, right? The truth, he's laughing his butt off at the notoriety that he's received, albeit bad.
Bottom line, he didn't do anything criminal and worse case he can claim that he must have went off the course "accidentally", aka no intent, and give back money if there was even any money involved.
Why did he do it? To say that he's faster than he is and brag about it. Pictures and video show that he's not a 2:52 marathon when he starts where he starts and ends up with different shoes at the finish line. Who does that and where were the shoes at? He cheated and he probably thought he would never get caught. If not for the internet he would have gotten away with a lot more than he did. Story over and no big surprise, he cheated as many do, but he did it often, just not the level of Rosie Ruiz or Oscar Miranda. Enough said.

Wow. The article is real and is excellent. I am completely dumbfounded that the article exists. For those who take shots at Singer, get real. He did tons of research and presented numerous facts, quotes and emails that are not on this thread or on SOKLR. He even interviewed Kip. Plus, his writing is great.
Absolutely amazing on so many levels.
As for why, it couldn't have been explained any better than it was 2 posts before yours. We don't need wiki.
