Tonight after work (back to day shift)I did an easy 35min trot through bushland near the LUBAC track, got caught in a torrential downpour. At the track I did 3k pacemaking a small group of 20.00/5k runners through 3k in 11.56 (3.58,3.59,3.59). I then eased out of their way and jogged 300m then strode out the straights for a lap. Rick, who had paced the leader through 3k had eased back to just running through his last laps, he lapped me so I stuck with him. We clipped along at a solid training hack. As he finished his last lap I caught the last of the 6 runners and finished with a solid lap keeping him company. Ended up running 20.50. A good night's work.
Monday. Returned home after last night shift at 9am. Slept until 1pm. Drove out to Nagambie and dropped the kyak into the Goulbourn River. Had a solid paddle for 75mins, stopped and did 60 pushups at 1/2 way. Did some weight training later.
Sunday. A good morning run on the banks of the Edward River in Deniliquin NSW. Pleasant terrain fairly flat trails/dirt roads, nice forest running for 68mins, finished with a measured 4k loop in 17m. Attended wife's family reunion then home before heading into work.
Saturday. 45min kyak with some sprints.45min mtn bike ride on the McIvor trails. Off to NSW in the afternoon.
Friday. Stopped on the way home from Melbourne at Kilmore. Ran 50mins on the trails around Monument Hill.
Thurs. A solid 75min mtb ride up on the McIvor trails.Headed down to Melbourne.
Wed. An hour run on the McIvor trails, tired from lack of sleep.
