Tuohy is such a pleasure to listen to in interviews. Valby, not so much. Short, curt answers and a snotty demeanor.
her experience shows out of the three,,, as we all know shes been doing interviews after every race since she was a 7th grader, and she has always been so good at interviews
my biggest takeaway was before it started, but after the cameras were on, Tuohy and Valby had a little friendly chat...other than that noone really says anything except "we are all racing the same course"

Well, as Jedsdead pointed out, Valby clarified that “for every uphill there is a downhill, so it all balances out”, so we have that takeaway.

I will agree, although I wouldn't say snotty...as someone mentioned, you can tell Tuohy has been doing interviews for a years...I would say PV was very uncomfortable with the attention and not good with public speaking.

Maybe she didn’t want to answer from the letsrun guys because of all the crap that’s been allowed to be said about her on this site. I wouldn’t if I were her. Short answers give less for people to them pick apart. Although now your picking apart her short answers soooo… can’t win
A listener on the zoom who was familiar with Valby from highschool asked her how she 'increased her fitness' and 'built so much muscle' since highschool, and she said in highschool she was running 'about 30 mpw' so she credits her fitness with 'upping my mileage and cross training a lot'
