But then this whole thing started by the trio attacking PM's marathons. When that well dried up they went searching desperately into the desert.

Remember the saying, if you can't dazzle them with brilliance the baffle them with BS. It seems like the trio has been trying to keep everyone from understanding the truth.

They keep throwing out BW numbers that change (did she cheat at mile 92 or 102 or 103)? Then they made up an outright fabrication of PMs pace and standing throughout the checkpoints that didn't match the race listing and a simple comparison with the other competitors.

Then when someone mentioned ulterior motives they went ballistic and started making threats. Seems like the shot struck pretty close to home.

Darren Fortney obviously feels strong enough about it because he posted this at the bottom of the Guinness article on PM's WR:

"If Parvaneh Moayedi "completed" any one of those 168 marathons the way she completed Badwater 2014 I would seriously recall this record ASAP and return it to the previous record holder."

At a minimum pm cheated at 103 when Thomas saw her get in her crew van and drive 19 miles into town down the course. Darren simply mentioned that he saw pm at mile 91 and was over two hours in front of her. He was also in front of Thomas at that point too. Darren claims to have never seen her run by him Now it makes because she got in her van and went 19 miles into lone pine. Thomas saw this. Fact. Another fact is that pm failed to mention this tiny bit of information in her race report. Oooops!

The fact that anyone will believe your cockamamie conspiracy theory is what's insane. Even if "the trio" are "out to get" PM, you really think they would randomly contact strangers and ask them to make sh*t up about another runner, AND that these strangers would go along with it?

A much more plausible explanation is that one of the witnesses to PM's cheating at BW 2014 did a Google search for "Parvaneh Moayedi cheating" and stumbled on this thread. It's the top hit. Search for yourself.

I think a lot of this has to do with her being Iranian. Shame on you xenophobes.

22 pages in and we have FINALLY figured it out. She is being picked on because she is Iranian. Yup. When in doubt, throw out the race or ethnicity card. The female card was nicely floated for a while too. FACT: Thomas Zaide (runner and finisher from this years BW) saw PM get into a van at mile 102 and DRIVE DOWN THE COURSE AND HEAD TOWARDS THE FINISH. He, and Darren who was ahead of both of them at the time, also reported that she also never passed them on the course. When someone sees you entering your crew vehicle and drive down the course, you are busted. Flat out busted. That is cheating. You need to answer to that.

Part of the race report:

"Closer to Loan Pine I decided to send most of my crew back to rest and come back fresh to help me on the last 13 miles hill up to Mount Whitney portals. It was time for me to sole search, pull if from the guts and put it on fast gear to make up time and I did. Passed a lot of runners that looked like zombies as the hills and desert had taken some soles!" This is quoted directly from her FB page.

Apparently "fast gear" meant Dodge Caravan-like. I can see why Darren and Thomas must have looked like zombies as PM was dosing in the back seat while taking a free ride down the course......zzzzzzz

Also ironic is that there really were no other runners for her to pass at that point on the course, other than Darren and Thomas!!! Both of whom independently reported immediately after the raced that PM never passed either of them, yet magically finished in front of them!! Her race report is very telling and flat out discredits her entire race. So glad she posted this!!!!

Nice race report! Of course she sends her crew back to "get some rest" right at the critical part of the course when it is well documented she is dangerously close to not making the 48 hour cut-off. This is typically when her hubby stays and the cheating begins. I highly doubt she cheats with her entire crew in the car. I am hoping for the sake our all of us, that it is just her and her hubby that share their love for cheating behind the scenes.

I have had it with all this anonymous accusations! Parvaneh Moayedi did not cheat! Period. If you really think so, I dare you to post it on her Facebook page. I guarantee you No one will because then you could no longer hide behind your cowardly fake names.

Actually the Badwater participants who noted that PM did not pass them yet finished ahead of them were never anonymous.

Actually a number of people I know have posted these things directly on her wall. Straight up. She has promptly removed their comments and blocked them. At one point, she had to take her FB account down for a bit because of all the negative posts she was taking.

We have ZERO evidence it is actually them posting. ZERO. More likely one of our trio picked names who PM had passed and posted on here as them. Occam's Razor.

Or would you suggest that his Facebook profile that posted on the Guinness story is also made up and that there is no evidence that it is really his?

Facebook message Darren and Thomas to confirm if you want. It will take 10 seconds. They made it pretty clear who they are/were. You know where to find them. So if it turns out it really was them, what is the next objection going to resort back to? They have it in for PM somehow? Despite living on opposite ends of the country (WI and CA) and not having ever met each other or PM in their lives? People just don't make claims on someone for the hell of it. And if they did not have proof, they both sure as hell would have NEVER put their own name to the post. Truth hurts.

I know very little about this fiasco, but someone is claiming that someone cheated and they have facts, allegedly with credible witnesses. The one being accused won't respond, which is odd, as that sounds a lot like the Kip Litton saga. I just read that she blocked comments from certain posters on her Facebook account. If she is innocent, and she may be, why would she do that?Again, I don't know all the facts, but I've read enough to know this. If I did what she has claimed to have accomplished, I would not sit by and be slandered by anyone or libeled on my own Facebook account by anyone. Sorry, I've had enough Psych classes to know how people react to things and why. Egocentrism is a powerful characteristic and not just for 2-3 year olds who don't know better. I hope whatever happens, the truth comes out.
