Do the new shoe buckles offer performance advantage?

So you forced them to abandon a traditional cultural practice. Africans were sold by other Africans; under 2% of southern whites owned slaves.
You also can’t pull the race card with me: I am half Hispanic (Cuban) and half white. I don’t believe in collective guilt since I’m not an insane woke who constantly thinks about race.
Not only this but only 3% of the Atlantic slave trade went to America ... 97% went to the Caribbean and South America.

Slavery also appeared to be a "traditional cultural practice" in the US, lasting several centuries, which the South was forced to abandon only through a Civil War. White Americans sure tried to hold on to their traditional cultural practice. Only whites enslaved blacks in the US and although you say a mere 2% were landowners (I doubt that) the rest of white society in the South depended economically on slavery and fought a bitter war to try to hold on to it. Unable to do that they imposed the ugly institution of Jim Crow for another century. White America has offered and given nothing to black Americans as compensation for centuries of oppression and injustice that American society - your society - imposed upon them. You don't care because you were never a victim of slavery and nor were your forbears.

This the truth! Well stated.
