Wow so just no coverage of the women's steeple. Not very inclusive, NBC!
They're showing it. The announcer is just so excited about paras that he didn't talk about it. Plus they're probably winding up for another mid race commercial break so they can bring us more of the paras uninterrupted.
Someone had to start a thread. Anyone else watching this super intense Men's 20k Racewalk???????
(I'm actually not since its not on Peacock.)
Anyway, should be an exciting day with 1500s and Steeples later. Watching out for Mikey Brannigan in the Para 1500 too, you never know when he'll run a faster time than the regular mens 1500 ;)
Can’t wait for strand, Hocker, and Koech to run 3:26 at Worlds and all the americans will be drooling for these drug cheats
Peacock cut to commercial in the middle of the race and we missed Rooks' push to the front. That was a pivotal move that we weren't allowed to watch. Imagine if they tried to pull this BS in other sports! Imagine if Messi scored a goal and fans weren't able to see it! There would be riots in the streets! Why do we allow these broadcasting networks to get away with this lackluster coverage? Why are we so docile?

I thought it would be on USATF.tv but it's not. Even used a VPN to get the international feed and it's a no-go.
What do you mean by this? Are you sure you looked at the right thing on usatf.tv? I'm seeing the women lined up for the steeple right now on the international feed.
Nuguse was not 100% today as shown by 58 2nd 400 (let everyone stay in race). He’s raced a lot this year(GST). Also, as Nuguse goes…Kessler goes!
He ran an even slower second lap last year. I’d argue part of his problem was not resting more on lap 2. As a result, the field strung out and the eventual top 3 just ran in a line as he picked it up the last 700.
People have probably underestimated Strand but might be overestimating his future potential. As an almost-23-year old, his record in the 1500M is very good, especially for a collegiate, but it’s not the stuff of a phenom and not particularly competitive globally. All of which is to say major kudos to him, but we may also be seeing his peak right now.
