Looked to me like Team USA did not make the last exchange within the zone.
I think Hall committed a couple lane violations stepping on the inside of his lane. US is likely going to be DQ'd.
I just rewatched it in slow motion. The exchange was just within the zone so that won't be a DQ but I agree with you that there may be a lane violation. We will have to wait and see what happens.
Give me 4 hours on a few different days with these guys and I promise you this never happens. Whoever is working with these guys has to be fired. It’s almost every year. And it’s basic math to get the steps right within a range. Technique on handoffs is also very sloppy and unreliable. These guys are so lost year after year it’s not even funny.
Blows my mind at every global championship that the U.S. doesn't win easily. Especially this year when they sweep the podium in the 100. If they would practice for more than the 30 minutes before the race they would have won easily. Oh well, you would think they would learn after this consistently always happens.
