Yes, it is definitely more common. I started to see the "Snowplow" parenting in earnest starting around the mid-90s. These are the parents who grew up on Phil Donahue, Facts of Life, Family Ties and Saved By The Bell; Greed is Good, Shop til you Drop and What Have Done for Me Lately attitude. All of a sudden you started to see youth basketball go from winning to every kid has to get equal playing time and every kid gets trophy. Btw, as IK said in my post, there are many advantages of working with educated parents with money and will funded school districts.

Every wrestler, some football players deal with this. I even saw one basketball player have to deal with this same thing. Difference was they weren’t being paid lol.

And all were under 18 lol. None of them b!tched at all but then again they were all guys. The wrestlers may have cried cause they still had to cut weight lol which sucks after months of doing it but they got it done.

Career didn’t go as planned and now wants to sue. Oh well. People sue for less.

I don't like to say things about someone I've never met, or make things up, but there is something off about Cain and her parents. It reminds me a little bit of the way Meghan Markel behaves, these constant droppings of bombshells in the media and the portraying herself as a victim. The sticking at things for only a short time before moving on and blaming everyone else. The entitlement to be elite in some way, without the results or putting in the necessary work. I also don't totally excuse Salazar. His way does not sound gentle.

The word "narcissist" is thrown around very easily these days. But so is autism.

If not, why not? Try it! Or, show a neutral teenage girl, or any woman for that matter, this oregonlive article without any comments, and ask her what she'd think if a 50+ coach would make such comments about her breasts.

Once again, you are trying to deflect, by turning it into “what about me”. This is not about me, or Salazar, but about what you said, without any supporting facts, despite the “quite a few facts” that have been revealed.

You can usually come up with a list, sometimes high in quantity while lacking in quality, and then stretch half the facts to support your half truths. I can only conclude that you are unable to support your unique and original notions of “ogling” and “thoroughly investigated the teenager’s breasts and bottom”, because, in reality, such facts simply do not exist.

The evidence for your uniqueness is the complete lack of evidence to the contrary. I just googled “Salazar” and “ogling”, and could find nothing relevant.

Don’t conflate asking you for facts with “siding with the abusive cheat” and “defending Salazar”. I didn’t say Salazar did nothing wrong. He did several things wrong, and this is well documented. Notably the documentation excludes “ogling” and “thoroughly investigating teenage breasts and bottom” (and similarly it excludes doping any NOP athlete at any time). He is currently serving a lifetime ban from USATF events for his repeated insensitivity.

This doesn’t give you carte blanche to pile on new fabricated and unfounded allegations, and just causes me to wonder why you feel the need to.

People receive temporary bans here for the slightest racist comments not directed at a person but they aren't banned when they make false specific comments about an individual.

If you insist that this is just about Cain vs. Salazar, then you should be able to find supporting statements in the complaint where Cain accuses Salazar of “ogling” Cain and that Salazar “thoroughly investigated breasts and bottom” of Cain and allegations of “sexual misconduct” towards Cain.

Attacking the most vulnerable is harmless and a very alpha male thing to do. That's why we're on pg 22.

Hey casual, don’t want to get into the middle of a bar brawl, but honestly, I too found the use of the word “sexual” heavy handed in mainstream reporting. When first reported a couple months or so back, every respectable newspaper article repeated “emotional and sexual misconduct” with no article saying what the sexual misconduct was. Now that the report is out, all we know is that he allegedly made a pass in a bar at Goucher according to her, someone who has been at war with Salazar for some time now. So I’m inclined to take the sexual misconduct allegation with a liberal dose of salt.
