Keep fighting the good fight Will. I would have never known the truth about these frauds if not for you.
This thread was originally titled, "Incredible development in the $612,000 Transcon Goodge run, currently ongoing" but the new title is more descriptive. The description of the run is here.

I love that Goodge has a permanent lifetime bounty hunter on him in Will C.
It’s nothing short of heaven on earth.

I'm not sure he realises how patient and tenacious gimps are.
Thanks! And meanwhile PJ, who has 300k followers to WGs 207k has come to the end of day 1 of his 6 day race. 67 miles... positively shocking. Leading lady [and there are only 2 in the race] is on 92.
That's always the problem when the runfluencers put themselves out there with absolutely no means to cheat. They get eaten alive. Always happens with both these two.
Lived and worked in very remote Oz for over 5 years. If he starts his nonsense again, I have people ready to drive for a day to find him.
Suddenly a random person will just walk out the Bush holding a beer, then another 5 miles ahead, and so on. They'll just observe, say absolutely nothing, not interfere in any way, but they're ready.

Thanks so much. There simply mustn't be any more of this. Just do a normal run that he's capable of, that's all we ask. Enough is enough. Johnson's atrocious struggle at the 6 Day race tells us what these boys are really made of. He's on 70.2 miles off 25:30. The horror...
This type of running below, past 50 miles in a day, is impossible - never seen before - if so where? And add the non-existent pulse and we're just watching a sport get ripped off right before our eyes.
W Goodge Mile 51-60, Transcon, day 39:
11:13 101 bpm
9:53 112 bpm
9:02 120 bpm
9:32 120 bpm
10:51 116 bpm
10:16 114 bpm
10:38 111 bpm
10:41 110 bpm
10:39 108 bpm
11:10 107 bpm
He doesn't go above 11:13! Totally unthinkable. And the pulse never goes above 120, and is as low as 101.
If we take Kostelnick's [WR holder by 4 days] 51-60 on day 39 we get this:
11:41 147 bpm
9:23 175 bpm
11:11 183 bpm
9:37 183 bpm
9:33 159 bpm
9:39 139 bpm
11:15 128 bpm
10:13 140 bpm
9:29 153 bpm
13:40 142 bpm
There are many things to note, but look how Kostelnick's heart never goes below 128 and Goodge's never above 120. Look at their ranges - WG is almost minimal, PK a wild variance [twice in the 180s] which is totally natural due to the ferocious effort interspersed with easier spells and topography.
WG has run 2 minutes quicker than PK off a pulse of 112 to 155. Utterly ludicrous.
I read that Ballanger isn't there. Is that confirmed? Do we know where he is? It wouldn't surprise his omission is part of the ruse, waiting in a bush at night to take on the tracker and watch.
Also where is sneakers? Someone give him a shake and tell him it's time to do battle again! 😀

I believe RB is with child, or incoming. But WG said on video that maybe he can yet be persuaded to make an appearance.
Just comparing WGs Transcon to Turnbull's TransAus. The difference in quality of the two runners is gargantuan, and this with the clear fraudulent activity that soon kicked in. But in short, on day 8 for instance, Turnbull is taking 12:43 for find 100k, and WG 12:13 to find 80. WG is now claiming he is going to find another 28k per day. This would take at least 4hrs30, but one then has to allow for the initial 80 to be at slower pace as it is now a 108k day. The more I look at it, the more I can't figure out how he runs his days in under 16:30/17 hours.
And that 80 had a pulse of 150 for the first quarter and then collapsed to a 100 or lower for the rest of the day, with still plenty of 6:30ks or better. All a total sh*tshow.
We are about to witness one of the most fascinating, freakshow, runfluencer exhibitions of all time. WG is caught between a rock and a hard place. Either he performs as is expected for his ability [with a human pulse], like at the California 100 race where he dnf'd or a few of his dreadful ultras, or the first half of Moab before he turned into Superman; or he performs amazingly but off a pulse of 105.
Either way, we'll be watching.
And meanwhile Johnson is two days into his 6 day race. His daily splits are 67 & 30. What a dreadful effort - is he just going to death march it for 5.7 days?
I have fired up a fresh thread [official transaus record thread], or this one can trundle on.
Strap in. His new crew chief describes himself in the website bio as a "mother f*cker" which is a somewhat odd way to start, but hopefully he will be a softer soul than RB with whom I never really gelled.
Onwards. Start in 9 hours.
Any news? Can’t see other thread - has it been deleted?
try
Will, interested to hear your thoughts on the Kallup McCoy US transcon currently going on now.
