I didn`t know that he was flat-footed until after his last 20 x 400m that became 16 x 400m because he got more pain .What he had told me about possible cause of light pain feeling sometimes in left foot was that he before was a frequent surfer and that the small pain probably

was a result of having the foot in a strap and twisted the foot.

You only get credit for 1 pr on a 10mile were you promised a big pr on a marathon, we all know how that went , not even close to his best time at that moment.

So NO!! you do NOT have what it takes to be a coach, let a lone a good coach, or like you call it world class

Ahahahaha! You forget something very important here......I have already been a successful online coach for now 5 years! 13 winners of international races, 2 wins of the prestigious Discovery XC in Kenya, South African Champ at 2 k XC,a bronze in the SA Champs 1500m, 2:nd place and 1:07 half in Ostia Rome womens half marathon, a debut marathon in 2:26 in ladies Vienna marathon.....the list of great coaching of runners both elite and other levels can just be extended even more.

He asked me to send my training system to him to compare with the program he got from Sang.I did that and he told me to coach him in secret until the race. I sent him the first weeks program but he unfortunately got pneumonia and couldn`t start the program.

Also Asbel Kiprop had seen my strong coaching ability and agreed to be coach by me for his winter buildup that fall year 2016. When the agreed start date came the 1 of November he changed his mind and wanted to train the same way he had done his last 10 years with a Lydiard

influenced phase system.Then a year later the shock came that he was found to be EPO doped.In my chat with him back in 2016 that fall a reaction from him when I told him he need to do VO2max intervals convinced me that he is innocent of aware doping. He told me VO2MAX was a forbidden substance and actually doping.I can hardly believe he was a doper with such a reaction plus he was the Kenya figurehead in the fight against doping. Anyway I have tried last year to support Asbel for a comeback year 2022 with me as the coach. He started with bad shape some easy runs of 40-60 min at just 4:45-5 min / km(high altitude in Ngong hills) but now he has told me he can`t find the motivation to do a comeback and the story about the fantastic middle distancer has sadly come to an end.

What I here and always have told at LRC has been the truth and nothing but the truth, so help me God!
