I have almost same PB:s as Gidey at track , 8:20 for me and she 8:23 at 3000m and 14:20 at 5000m and she 14:23 and my best 10000 at 29:51 and she 30:21. How is it possible to run this fast for a woman over 15 k when nothing pointed to this time just a couple of months before??? There can only be one explanation……….I think?

Athletes have better shoes, better nutrition/supplements, and the talent pool is deeper as more and more women take up running. I believe her performance is 100% legit because who am I to say what the limits of a woman's capability is?? Some of you all assume, in your misogynistic patriarchal mindset, that men must ALWAYS be significantly faster than the fastest woman. But considering how varied the human genome is, it's safe to assume that a woman with the ability to close the gap in this sort of fashion actually EXISTS... And for those who want to blame doping,bio passports, blah blah, to make yourself feel better....TRY IT...take the EPO, the supplements, all that you want. By your logic, your performancr should drop 2 minutes or so over 5k. I guarantee you you won't run anywhere close to Ritz or Rupp if you took the "bio passport" or some other crap you think is to blame.

I hate to strike fear in your hearts but Tuohy will rub sub 15:10 for the 5000 meters next year...and I guarantee you she won't be doing it with bio passport or any fancy schmanzy drug aids you THINK that Hassan and others are using.
If her time was just a minute slower, the same males hating on her would instead be talking about how attractive she is. Considering how powerful her legs are her times make perfect possibility to me.

She's an Almaz Ayana 2.0 even stronger. Let me tell you , Jarmila Kratochvilova, Marita Koch,Wang Junxia and others of the past were clean athletes compared to the dopers are round today. This is no doubt a juiced run. I lived in the Netherlands for a bit and this race was known for being a tough one. The name of the race translates to “7 hills run”. I literally laughed out loud when you brought misogyny into this.

Yeah, it's completely ridiculous. Men's distance and middle running has a lot of dopers for sure, but it's beyond all limits in the womens events. This is by far the best female athletic feat ever, and considering the other 10 best performances ever are doped she is juiced beyond belief. Sad to see

To be fair, i think there was some sort of a drug experiment. They couldn't test it in a big race so they tried it in Nijmegen where the GSC camp is based. Throughout the race Jos Hermens was observing Gidey.
Obsviously, the new drug is ridiculously good, the best ever. Guess it's the same which helped Kipchoge to break 2 and Bekele to reborn from the ashes.

Also because in women some kind of doping improve the performance much more than in men . I mean there is a wider margin where peds can make their effect. Just think to testosteron. But also lower hematocrit and emoglobyn for women.

Spot on! Now she should go for the 5,000 and 10,000m records on the track. They are looking soft after this performance. First sub-14 and sub-29 performances for a woman are calling in 2020.
I call it now, Gidey, double olympic champion and world record holder. She will break the Half world record whenever she will make her debut, even without doing specific training, and it won't even be close.
