I saw a 29:44 split for her at 10k (I believe that her first 5k was run in 15:07, so faster than 5k world record in her second 5k split) and faster than 10k world record in her last 10k.
These beautiful Ethiopian-descent women are killin it in distance running.
I looked at video again. Time was 44:21. Title should be changed. So I think she ran 15:07, 29:44, 44:21

She is 21 year old. Do you think that she would beat the NCAA XC champion (men)? She certainly would be in leading pack.

This is proof that the talent gap between men and women atleast in running is smaller than originally thought. Women just entered the game late and, if you track their time progression since they started competing widely in distance running, you'll find that the improvement curve for women's times is actually steeper than the men's time progression curve.

It certainly will be by the time the downward revisions are complete.
Before today, this would rank her 25th this year on the men’s list. One position ahead of Haron Lagat and 5 spots behind Stephen Sambu’s 44:13 performance. Is that insane?

Perfect conditions, hilly course. No downhill course, net separation 0%. Course climbs from 70 feet to 300 feet on undulating roads, then it goes down to finish where it started. NYC type of course, way slower than others.
