Vortex, follow the link to the Marathon weather report, above, and it has a little chart that says headwind for each section of the race.

I see it has changed and changes by the minute or so. Nice

Isn't it for each 5+ mile stretch that includes numerous turns each? Like for 16-20 you are going every direction except North against a WEW wind. The website has this as 45% headwind for this stretch.

In the first 5 where you are pretty much just heading North with the wind at your back left, it's only a 2% headwind.

Kind of makes sense to me.

When I looked at one point it had headwind x% and tailwind 0% for all sections. Clearly it has updated.

Seems pretty cool to me.

Looks like the wind and temperature have both dropped slightly, making conditions even more favorable.

Should be about as ideal conditions as one could hope for this time of year in Chicago.
