A search turned this thread up about a month ago. I've been trying to contact the poster who started it, but no luck yet. Anybody know how I can get in touch, or how his progression is looking?

Vince Draddy is on the internet!
Legalizit where are you?
the spelling is bhagwan.
Have you made contact with Legalizit?
No, I don't think the email is valid that is linked to the handle name.
Legalizit is still around but he stays away from these boards because of the lack seriousness. I’ve known Leagalizit for ten years and he is one of the most intelligent people I have ever met. He is currently training for cycling and is doing a fantastic job. Leagalizit it was a J.V. runner in high school and now is tearing up the mountains on his bike, looking to turn pro over the next year. If any of you want to be put in contact with him, let me know.
Westcoast,
I must admit, I still scan the boards once or twice a week when cross and track season are going on, and catch up on the Renato super-thread when I have time.
Look forward to seeing you up at 9200' in Onion Valley in July. It sounds like there are plenty of trails up there, and in fact, campsite 8 is at the mouth of one that leads to a lake. Bring your fishing gear if you have any, there is supposedly some great fishing up there.
If somebody, from nearly a year ago now I see, is still wanting to reach me, just click on my screen name and it'll link you to me.
...looking back at the original post, and thinking about some of the others I laid down here...a bit of a smirk comes to my face. I'll admit, I was a little bit out there at the time (enough so that I thought some people might actually be thinking along the same lines and wish to engage in some serious conversation), and can't afford physically to do that anymore since I'm quite serious about cycling. However, the ideas are still strong and will be realized on others if I can make it in cycling and springboard from that to coaching.

Indeed, maybe you shouldn't post when you are stoned if you want to be taken seriously. Marijuana is rather effective at making people deluded.

If is also rather effective at getting people high.
I LOVE IT!!!! the return of legalizit!
Wonder if I can find the old lunar training cycle threads........? I'm still working on that idea.

Time will tell if these were delusions of grandeur, or visions of them.
What kind of bikes do you race (mountain or road) and at what level are you now? Your friend said you are looking to turn pro within a year.

HA HA.....the druggy ADMITS he was out of his mind when he wrote many of his posts. Trust me Legalizit, in case you forget (since you didn't apparently remember much about this particular thread), let me remind: MOST of your posts were this silly/deluded/"out there"/whacked, etc, etc. In fact, this was one of your more coherent threads. And you used to get mad when people called you on being full of nonsense. Maybe you were tripping, or withdrawling/jonesing for some drugs, and that made you all irritable.
You didn't leave because the board was not "serious enough", as the other poster said, but because people called you on being a deluded druggy, and were not buying the ideas that came from your fried/hazy brain. And now you admit it. At least I respect your for THAT.
Hey, mountain biking is a great sport for druggies. You'll fit in excellently there. If you get bored with that, try snowboarding.
By the way, what we at LetsRun are MOST interested in about you is: what drugs were using? They must have been pretty powerful, because they caused you to spew all sorts of garbage on these boards. Some people here might be interested in escaping reality, so let us know what you were using! Really, I'd like to know!
Frank,
I was smoking about a gram of pot per week, or more precisely, an eighth a month. That isn't much really, relative to people who smoke regularly. Fact is, I've channeled thoughts that are a bit "out there" my whole life. That hasn't changed now that I'm sober, I'm just able to understand better what people will and will not take seriously, so I keep most of that stuff to myself.
I'm sure it made me more emotional than I am now, which is why I might get pissed too easily, but I'll still hold to the fact it's quite tough to ellicit a serious response from this board when throwing out alternative ideas. A forum that doesn't require registration is a forum that will eventually fall victim to...well...crap...lots of it.
I'm certain that some of the thoughts that streamed through me were silly/deluded/whacked, but I'm also certain that some of those same bits of info that I fetched out of the thoughtstream and posted here were not at all that, though they are still perceived to be. It's all good though Frank.
Anyway, I'm a roadie.
"Anyway, I'm a roadie."
hahahahaha nuff said, roadies are even crazier than the wacked out musicians who employ them.
Or did you mean road racing cyclists, they are nuts too, so you have no excuses either way.
I'm a roadie too.
So I guess I'm nuts?
bump, due to the fact that this shit is bananas.
