Coach, your comment is simultaneously correct and incorrect, correct in that the site is overrun with idiocy and incorrect in that those who suspect massive doping at the elite level of distance running, especially in Kenya, have been proven correct time and again with close to 100 Kenyan positives in the past ten years or so, many involving medal winners. 25 or so since 2008 are listed here:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_doping_cases_in_athletics

I wonder. Is this double quality workout really true? Have never seen something similar before. Maybe just 10 hours recovery between workouts? The training Bible says at least 48 hours recovery in between. The supercompensation should be destroyed normally ( if not using something that speed up the recovery of course ). Also up at high altitude and same pace at the 800s and 1000s . Always when I see a workout I ask myself : What is the purpose? And the only purpose I can see here is to get a very high daily volume of running at 10 k race pace and some at close to 5 k race pace and try to recover in extremely short time?

Would like to ask you Renato of your opinion about this told double daily workout. Has some of your coached runners ever done something similar like this ?

On a search here, I got 44 Kenyans listed again, 12 Ethiopians, 2 Bahraini Kenyans, vs. 3 Algerians, 4 Moroccans, 19 Italians, 11 French, 18 Americans (2 middle distance runners), and 94 Russians. Those are all currently sanctioned.

Ha! Bang on! He will be tested far less in Kenya and it is far, far easier to dope there. Just look at the Norwegian, when he lived at home he was blood tested 5 times per year and he was running 29 minutes and 2:13. Goes to Kenya starts doing 27, 59 and 2:05 and he is only tested 3 times and one of these was end of season, holiday stuff. Getting blood tested once every 122 days when glow times are a matter of hours makes things so much easier. Face it folks team NN is likelier dirty than team SKY.

I think mainly places where buying dope is from pharmacies is as easy as Advil, we should discount those preformances.

I think its funny, Canovas philosophy's are plastered all over this site, yet most of you don't even know what a special block is so you accuse Julian of doping? Almost all of Canovas athletes have done blocks like this, so why does this make him a doper?
