The blog is not that bad. In fact, it is quite good.
It's free. no subscription needed.

Best 24 hour run is 70 miles (112 km) in a real race.
And we are supposed to believe he ran 202 miles in 50:16 (96 miles every 24 hours) on the open road while no one is looking?
Dane Rauschenberg is a cheat.

Dane Rauschenberg is a cheat.
People checked on his weird 202 mile thing. He cheated quite a bit. You might still find it on google.
The nice thing about 202 miles in 2 days and 2 hours is, that not many runners are able to do that.
http://statistik.d-u-v.org/getintbestlist.php?year=all&dist=48h&gender=M&cat=all&nat=USA&label=&hili=none&tt=netto&Submit.x=22&Submit.y=8It would put Dane into the top 25 of all time 48 hour runners in the US.
Too bad he sucks otherwise in 24 hour races, where his best is around 70 miles.
So yeah, totally BS.
I respectfully diagree.
The 24 hour thing was run early in his career when he was experimenting where he could be most effective in the sport of distance running.
Mr. Rauschenberg then went on to produce a respectable 21:55 100 mile race result at the Graveyard 100 in North Carolina and with his legendary endurance could most likely maintain that pace through 202 miles.
Many runners seem to be jealous of Mr. Rauschenberg because, when it comes to women, he attracts the crème de la crème.

- Mr. Rauschenberg and friend
Dane Rauschenberg, one of those lunatics paid to write endless unhinged responses to President Trump on Twitter, mocks a Trump supporter for SURVIVING CANCER. This is where the left is now. Mocking cancer survivors because of politics.
Granted, this was not acceptable but this was years ago when he was trying to stand out from the crowd and figured that the only way to do it was to say over the top things. He has matured from those days and most likely understands that that way of getting noticed was not the way to go.
Americans are forgiving and love to give a guy a 2nd chance.

It's create to finally see some no-cost blog content available. I'm getting really annoyed at how much I have to pay to follow the thoughts of guys like Dane who did athletic things 13 years ago.
Rauschenberg continues to do athletic events in addition to writing.
He BQed yet again in 2018. not certain how many years in a row this has happened but it is a lot.
Looks like a 2:49 PR. My PR is 2:51. I would NEVER consider myself "good" let alone "elite" and write a Wikipedia page about myself. I'm "above average" and proud of it.
2:49 is pretty good.
Plus, a marathon is a speedwork interval to the 202 mile Rauschenberg.

Yes, 2:49 is pretty good for a women! But even then it wouldn’t be elite.

Years ago in August of 2018. I believe that is when he was banned from Twitter.
It's Christmas Eve and you are all thinking about me. Jesus. Go spend time with your families
Also, I ran 84 miles in 12 hours. Y'all love google so much, find that one, too.
Turns out he’s from my neck of the woods, but I’ve never heard of him.
Rauschenberg kept a low profile until busting out in 2006 with the stunning 52 marathons in 52 weeks.
Chuck Engle was not able to do it. Mr. Engle attempted to compete with Rauschenberg but completed only 50 marathons in 52 weeks in 2006.
No idea where your neck of the woods is but there are lots of people I don't know who are impressive. Lots I do know who are impressive. And many more who think they are who aren't.
Fact remains the OP posted this low-level trolling to get simpletons to says "ELITE?! Not on my watch!" Kudos, guys and girls, you fell for it again. My favorite is the cherry picking of results to try and prove a point. Like he guy who posted he ran 70 miles in 24 hours. Took me longer searching than I care to admit that he probably got that from the dude's website. Where it also talks about 84 miles in 12 hours. Either way, whatever. Camille Herron just ran 160+ in 24 hours.
I like Dane. He's not everyone's cup of tea but BFD.
Granted, Ms. Herron ran 160 in 24 hours but Mr. Rauschenberg once ran 84 in 12 hours.
That translates to 168 for 24 hours if Rauschenberg can maintain the pace.
And his track record indicates that it is highly likely that he can.

I think he did 84 miles in a 24 hour race.
this is true.
my mistake.
