Who is Dane Rauschenberg?
Have to wonder if his trust fund will ever run out.
What a two bit hack. Guy needs to get off the laptop, get a real job and return to the real world. Oh yes, that includes not flying around the country posting mediocre times at random races — hang up the racing shoes as well.
But guys....he is a high flyin, beef eatin, RV ridin, slow movin son of a gun!!
Dane Rauschenberg might be American from Texas. A ultramarathoner he is not.
Never heard of this guy, but when I googled him, there is a Wikipedia page on him...I wonder who wrote that ?. Sounds like the guy is completely full of himself and wouldn’t be surprised if he started this thread about himself, too.
Hahahahhaha. I *JUST* noticed the word "Elite" in the title. Well done, OP.
It's a 26 mile jog, not a marathon, if it's not under 2:30. And only sub 2:20 is legit and worth mentioning. And only sub 2:10 is super fast.
I am embarrassed to be an American if that is what we consider elite.

You figured him out quickly.
Dane is the man when it comes to make up stuff.
I'd never heard of this guy before, but that wikipedia page is high comedy.

"When reading Rauschenberg's Wikipedia page," he observed with the sham gravitas of the colossally stoned, "I was waiting for the 'contributor' to just drop all pretense and shift to a first-person narrative."
Doesn't seem like this guy is notable enough to have a wiki page. There's really nothing impressive enough about his accomplishments to warrant a bio.
Had to google. Wow, that is one UGLY dude.
Is he another Alex Jones spreading right wing hate speech?
Running the 202 mile American Odyssey Relay without teammates must be considered enough by itself to warrant a Wikipedia page.
Also the 52 marathons in 52 weekends was another superhuman effort. Remember, the great Chuck Engle could only manage to complete 50 marathons in one year. Rauschenberg went over that amount by 2.

* denotes riding in an RV for at least part of this.
Fixed your post for ya!

no.
Mr. Rauschenberg leans left.
Have to ask — anyone actually meet this joker? Dane claims to have run a bunch of races and have given talks at races. Coaches athletes even.
Stories anyone?
