I feel very privileged to be the only skin color of humans that is honored by these teams and the way they show our primitiveness and bravery as Indians. When the redskins and Cleveland Indians play a game, they are the modern day form of an indian in battle. I firmly believe that abolishing the redskins is no different than breaking into a museum and setting fire to all the beautiful paintings of Indians. I firmly believe that exterminating indian mascots is no different than going up to some 90 year old code talker, putting a gun to his head, and pulling the trigger. Indians would be absolutely nothing without these teams and other portraits in society that remember Indians, and the redskins are really all that Indians have left in the modern day world that is keeping our culture alive. There is absolutely ZERO connection between some poor Indians and a professional football team. None whatsoever. The problem exists within your own personal lack of pride. Your lack of pride is your OWN problem, and pride is something that other people cannot fix for you. That is something you must fix for yourself. Your own families thoughts about whether you have red skin or brown skin really has nothing to do with me and my families thoughts. Me and my family are red colored people, we come from the land of red people, and we believe all Indians have red colored skin. I see that indian logo with reddish colored skin, and it reminds me how much the world still loves and respects me and my indian ancestors. The pictures of those fighting Indians give me an indescribable amount of INTERNAL HAPPINESS, and words cannot possibly describe the amount of pride that I have for being a redskin indian from Oklahoma. One day there will be no more indians, and all you are doing is contributing to their extinction and making it where kids dont even know what a headdress is because you took it away. you are making an enormous mistake that will destroy the history and future of all Indians.

On my computer at home I still have tons of your posts that I saved, most of which were subsequently deleted on this site. Occasionally I refer back to them from time to time to relive the good old days.

The way I read the story Brett Dahl got a beat down from a liberal snowflake and went crying to the police and hotel. If you're wearing a jersey that's going to make people upset you better be ready to defend yourself. If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.

I disagree with you that CNN's partisanism goes back 30 years. I have seen CNN hammer Democrats on a number of issues, they were absolutely brutal to President Clinton on the Monica Lewinsky matter. Even now, there negative coverage of President Trump, they are not making things up and perhaps they are hitting back at him for basically attempting to delegitimize their business.

When one looks back, it is striking how much progress the ... how do we call it? the Republican party machine has made in delegitimizing news in general, and in discouraging rational analysis.
For those of us old enough to remember when the Republican wing included seriously intelligent and thoughtful pundits, the current state of affairs is quite degenerate by comparison.
That Politico story is far more credible and it indicates just how untrustworthy Dahl (430 miler) is. This only supports the views of quite a few on this website that many of its trolls are extremely unsavory individuals.
It indicates not only that neither had significant injuries at the time, that Mendoza has initiated discussions like this on many other occasions, that Dahl claims not even to know what was on the back of shirt, that Mendoza approached a police officer before it got violent, and that Dahl's own mother subsequently sought a restraining order against him.

The neutral articles say mr Dahl was hospitalized for 19 days and had 3 surgeries. Both men were definately injured, mr dahl was just far worstly injured.
The bruises on Mendozas face look like make-up to me. Just sayin. He is obviously the one with the longer criminal record

As someone pointed up above, it's crazy how easy its become for the Right to ignore truth. There's no evidence to support what you say other than Dahls' own word. There is evidence that he's own mother requested a restraining order against him. There's also evidence or the lack there of that he had no hospital bills. The fact that you side with Dahl who is a known troll and liar simply because on the other side stands someone of the opposite political party demonstrates how insanely biased you are. If Mendoza was just a regular Joe and the same story somehow broke without a doubt you'd side with him but because he's an Obama aide you deny the facts based simply on the "liberal garbage" narrative alone.

I have my opinion about what really happened, but it's just an opinion. Either way, even if Mendoza was a Republican, I would STILL be siding with mr dhal due to fact approached him about being offended. It sounds like Mendoza kept pushing until dhal changed his shirt and apologized and kissed his ass. Someone coming to the event and minding their own business has no right to be politically terrorized for something his autism probably isn't even aware that it's a political issue in certain circles. I'll remember your notion that it's ok to rip your Bernie sticker off your car because it offends me.
