RoJo praised Chelimo being a member of an organization responsible for causing over 100,000 deaths per year of neutral civilians in target countries, not to defend their own country but to enrich international corporations and affect US politics, while at the same time recruiting people to be enemies of USA and teaching them that targeting civilians is OK by US laws of war despite the Geneva Conventions, Kellogg Briand, etc.

Perhaps some here have some awareness of Olympic history? Off the top of your head, who can name every Olympic 10K champ in the 1916, 1940, and. 1944 Olympics, and why the number of champions is less than 3? 5 seconds to answer correctly from now, without peeking to the end.

Look it up if you do not know, kids have an excuse for being wrong but not sports fans with degrees from 4 year and longer colleges and universities.

Who remembers Munich 1972 and what happened between the Israelis and people in one of their target territories during the conduct of a hostile and illegal Israeli military operation? Sending Chelimo and his war buddies to Rio was the equivalent of Israel sending its gang of war buddies to Munich, a really stupid and dangerous idea as far as the IOC is concerned, although from the top US leadership standpoint, a counter-terrorist strike would have been a great opportunity to spin the propaganda into fooling a lot of people about who the real bad guys are. I'm dead serious. You are embarrassing yourselves and it's post like these that give this messageboard a bad reputation.

Tiernan is a stud and one of the best non-African born runners in the world.

When I was watching the 10k, I thought to myself, "This is amazing, they are running fast and the ENTIRE field is sticking with it."

Tiernan was within 10 seconds of the lead as late as 7k. He was doing everything he could to hang on. When you blow up, you blow up. It sounds like people would rather he start the race at 28:00 pace and solo that?? That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard.

No. He stuck with the lead pack, running for a medal, for as long as he could and then had to jog it in for 2-3k. I'd much prefer that than running 28:00 from the gun.

Criticizing Patrick Tiernan's non effort is what gives these message boards a bad reputation?
