Age? She's 23, the prime age for 800m running. She's also doped to the gills. She tested positive for a frickin banned substance! The reason she can add mileage and be more lean is the drugs, buddy.

Ajee is the one of the purest this sport has. I know her personally and professionally, and she is nothing but legitimate. Not to mention a total class act.

Congrats Ajee on a great race. You deserve everything coming your way.

I think Semenya probably hasnt been working very hard, sand bagging races probably doesn't motivate you to train much. Its catching up to her.

I know Ajee, her family and coach, the possibility of Ajee doping is as far fetched as any athlete I have ever known. As far back as high school I thought this day would come, personally I thought she would have broken the AR a year ago. The reason she ran 1:55 is because he had to, she's a racer and only runs fast when the race dictates. Take my world for it, she capable of running faster.

This result after Miles-Clark's AR shows that clean athletes have had a hard time medaling for a long, long time in this event. Miles-Clark may or may not have been clean--I doubt it but do not know, but you can absolutely bet that Masterkova and Formanova were doping and Mutola was intersex like her former athlete Semenya. Despite the positive, Wilson strikes me as likely innocent and was obviously one of our best young runners ever, behind Cain, who broke 2 as a junior in high school. Wilson was able to keep developing, whereas Cain did not.

She's done. Peaked too soon. Shouldn't even bother to go to London. She'll be be lucky to make the semifinals.

Really sad. Caster Semenya, Francine Niyonsaba and Margaret Wambui have never failed drug tests, yet they get the bulk of abuse here. If Ajee Wilson, was South African, Burundian or Kenyan, with no powerful entity to back her up, she'd be exiled from the sport, probably for good.

Such a long history of certain athletes getting special treatment from the sports' governing bodies. Hilarious that she gets popped for drugs and then runs a massive PB.

Are they not intersex athletes? If they respond to testosterone, then they are athletics-wise men in a women's frame. I would put them in a separate Paralympic race, and start to get the LGBT movement onboard. Better that then CAS making the women's 800m a joke race. Sharp admitted as much last year on the BBC.

So many girly men here. Always complaining about people being doped and drugged up. I have never seen so many men complain like women all the time except for this board. AJ Wilson was cleared and the reasons for her results explained.

Its just not natural for "men" to "always" look for something to complain about.

Yes there is and has been issues with doping in our sport. The sport is trying to police itself and clean itself up. AJ ran a great race and is the new American Record Holder. She has been training great, has a great training partner and has progressed each year.

Honest discussions about drugs and drug users should be talked about and discussed on this board but man, you guys sound like women.

When our male and female runners have larger muscles then some of you guys, you all complain about that as well! Go lift weights, do so pull ups or push ups or something.

Be happy for her! I am glad I do not have male or for that matter female friends like many of you guys who are always looking for fault in a person.
