Yeah, funny how this fella, Reading, Young, etc love using the internet to get what they want and promote themselves, happily take the plaudits, likes and slaps on the back but then cry foul when they get caught out and start whining about bullying, trolling, etc.
Fellas, it's not all one way when you're not completely honest and up front. This fella didn't have a single charity donation for weeks until this thread appeared, how can that be?

If you make huge claims and ask for media attention (it was on national tv) and ask for money to fund it. then he should be providing proof he's doing it.
No live tracker and no running watch data.
If you ask him about this he just says he's running for charity and of course he's running it all.
But since I started this thread he doesn't open ANY messages.
Why do you believe he's doing it?
Anyone can post a few photos. Photos don't prove he's running it all, do they?

To be honest I think this guy has made mistakes with how he has things laid out and how his site doesn't advertise the the donation page for the charity first and foremost. But I think that they are just that, mistakes, I don't think that he is trying to con anyone, it would take a lot more effort to do that than to actually raise money for the charity along side his GoFundMe.
He has made mistakes, if he MAKES the changes necessary then we should let him be and stop crucifying him!
But people donating to Gofundme would be under the impression they were helping someone to raise thousands for charity. He'd been doing this trip for ages and had raised absolutely nothing until I started the thread.
I think if you asked those people who funded him if they were happy with that they'd say no.

Asking him why he raised no money yet accepted two grand for himself, and has no live tracker or watch data isn't crucifying him.
I've already told him about the issues, and other than finally telling people there's a charity page he's changed nothing.

He told me the other day he was absolutely running the entire way. He never mentioned this skipped section.

Look, lets be honest, it's something he always wanted to do and he's got other people to pay for it, he threw in the charity angle just to justify it and make it look like he was doing it for philanthropic reasons.
If this thread hadn't started the donations would have been zero because the people who donated to his GoFundMe aren't going to donate to his charity page too.
