My Orioles game just ended so I ran downstairs and fired up the computer to watch the meet. I'm stunned that there are only only 200-300 streamers on facebook.

We have twice that many people on letsrun at any given moment. I figured facebook would give a live stream to 10k running fans on a night.

I'm blown away.

10,000 seats at Kezar but only 1 parking space. You would drive around in circles for an hour trying park near there. And at the start of the meet it is 53 degrees with 20 mph winds in SF. So yeah, Stanford is about a 1000 times better for a meet.

Yep. We basically just double it by tweeting out about it and putting it on our facebook page.

I don't think those people were making serious attempts at the WR.

Most of the athletes here look like they're just having fun. This very much reminds me of the scene in Once a Runner where they're 'playing' track in the backyard.

That guy Ryan Booth was an incredible rabbit. I know he only made it 800 but European rabbits should watch him. He a) wore a watch and was like a metronome at 61 pace.

Can we stop the insane talk about Chelimo beating Farah. The only guy that was going to beat Farah was Kwemoi and he's not running the 5k.

Farah is getting ready for worlds. Meanwhile Chelimo is tiring himself out by running this meet and the final next week I presume to pick up $5k since he can't received sponsorships in the Army.

I see your point but based on the level of shape he appears to be in, that 3k shouldn't tire him out too much. I wouldn't bet on him (or anyone else) beating Farah but I'm optimistic he at least "could beat him" on the right day.

So the meet is at Stanford and Steven Solomon is running - a former Stanford star - and they don't mention he's from Stanford? That's not good PR.

I thought Grijalva had it, He has a nice form, and there was no sign of struggle. He didn't even seem that winded after the finish.

That was the best race of the night.
